Finally got out of preseason play packages and showed some speed cowboys need to play thier starters in preseason it takes them 4 games every year to look like a NFL team
What happened is we move Tyler Smith to where he supposed to be we moved bass and Hoffman into the lineup and then had our best drive running two years. I’d hate to say it. I love the guy. Zac Martin needs to hit the bench and allow Hoffman to have a chance. and if you go back to last year’s tape, I believe it was week 16 or 17 and I want to say the Redskin game we had our most dominant performance at the line of scrimmage the whole year last year and that was because we had bass and Hoffman in the lineup
I dont claim to know as much at McCarthy and team, but something tells me that the oline combo of Guyton Smith Cooper Martin and Steele is not the most efficient group..Id like to see Smith Cooper Hoffman Bass and Martin
That drive started with four minutes left in the third quarter. The first two drives were awful. What were they thinking? Dak actually tried play action after zero rushes and got sacked. This drive and the last drive were things of beauty. A balanced attack, run heavy is the blueprint for success. Having Zeke and Hunter on the bench gives us the oppurtunity to do it from play one. I was so frustrated by the way they started in this game, ended up being a classic but it din't start that way.
Yes, well said. But, interestingly, six of the last seven plays on the game winning drive were throws. So there can be no hard and fast rule when it comes to play calling.
@@highfader7893 Dak thrives in the two minute drill also he's great rolling out of the pocket, you can't really simulate that stuff at the beginninig, When you'r passing every down at the end of a game you know you're in trouble, time is running out you need chunk plays, stop the clock. Sometimes it works but more often than not it ends with a sack or a pick. That's the past. I think the penny dropped four minutes left in the third quarter.
Fixed their offense? lol. I love the Cowboys but come on. They have the highest paid QB/player in NFL history and the 2nd highest paid WR in the league and have scored 20 or less in more than half their games. That's unacceptable.
Yes. Tyler Smith would be ALL PRO at LT if they had of left him there. Let him play LT and keep Bass at LG. Guyton might be better at LG than Bass but would need some time to get there. TYLER SMITH SHOULD BE OUT LEFT TACKLE FOR THE NEXT TEN YEARS.
People on here need a lesson on what it means to be a REAL DALLAS COWBOYS FAN: YOU ARE IN ALL THE WAY WIN, LOSE, OR TIE, OR YOU STEP OFF AND JUMP ON ANOTHER TEAMS BANDWAGON!! DCF4L!! #TEAMDAK!!! BY THE WAY: COWBOYS- 20 STEELERS -17
Dallas adjusted their run blocking scheme. They ran motion which they haven't done much of. It wasn't only just little hitches or hook routes. It's like they opened up their playbook. Much like they did last year as they struggled a bit early on.
I’d argue hunter lupeke is just as good if not better than Rico not only in catching but running the ball. He can run the ball very well they just haven’t used him in the run game as much.
he's not better than Rico more versatile maybe, but he's not the one to carry the load We should however give him the ball in more short yardage situations, but then Zeke from the half yard line is money in the bank.
@@Gladiator-x-21 Zeke has more touchdowns from the one than just about anybody. Hunter never had the ball I don't think he thought he was getting it either, if you watch he plays like he's blocking, that was a communication problem. He was a rookie, he was blocking more than he was carrying the ball. One fumble as a rookie and that's it? you'll never win anything
@@bruceplenderleith838 Agree with all you said until your LOVE for Zeke. He is NOT MONEY IN THE BANK at the goal line. The only money in the bank is what Jones wasted paying Zeke this season.
If the cowboys offense could handle the Steelers dominant defense I think they can handle the Lions defense, the cowboys defense is the one that will have their work cut out for them with Ty Montgomery and Jahymr Gibbs run game
I wonder what game meliamazing impressive championship caliber. Won't think every year's be championship. Calibers or they call it and they die. Oh, go Romo, big number. Nothing to show for it. 's about championship. Oh my bag, my bag go Prescott, big numbers. Nothing to show for in the end. It'll be the same thing over again. Big numbers and choke choke. Is choke when it comes to going for a championship
Man I hope your right! The only one I will always be concerned about is Dak... I have never had confidence in his play especially against good teams. I'm glad he actually pulled this one off despite his mistakes and kudos to the defense for helping us stay in the game.
