I mean i am a young kid and i am a huge cowboys fan. I hope and I pray that the cowboys will make it to the nfc championship game.

The cowboys might never win the Superbowl in my lifetime but at least I got the Rangers 🙏(I'm dying inside)

Straight talk. Thanks. Yes the Jones' are the only non-variable all this time. Jerrah did try and change when he gave Stephen the reins 3-5 yrs ago. He did bring some discipline to build a team from the draft and within and not big splash free agents. Now we are the 2nd youngest team in the NFL and quite talented. That was a good sign. But once again that is another change to the inputs, but the result is exactly the SAME!! I still don't think we need a huge personnel overhaul. Just in the right places(LB, Inside DL, and small holes in the offense). All that being said, I never have felt less hopeful. It truly feels like the movie "Groundhog Day". It is embarrassing. Last year I went ALL-IN on the team and Dak. How do we have hope now that things will change? Off season is not it for me this year. 28 years of next season is getting pretty fken OLD. I will rebuild my hope some how some way. Hope all of us can. DC4L

I think every Cowboys fan knew this was the truth. But, we all didn’t want to believe it. Myself included.

In reality it took the Chiefs over 40 years to get Mahomes and hold the Lombardi. It took the Eagles 50 years to win a Super Bowl. This notion of “never” is garbage. We just don’t know when that will be. It could be a couple years from now or 20 years from now. This organization ain’t what it used to be because Jerry never knew how to manage the cap and gave up years ago. Blame him for approving the cap like a clown and overpaying players for years. He then hires the worst coach “Jason Garrett” in franchise history. Campo as bad as he was would have done the same as Garrett with the talent we had. But to say never is a stretch. These things have happened in many franchises, but it’s not heard about because our organization is loud. Cowboys brand is bigger than the team which is why the hype is hard every year.

I been fan since 80s and I can tell you this team won't win a superbowl, micah, ceedee etc have no heart and want to just get paid, after I heard lamb I knew they are not the team so it will be another 5 yrs see who they get on that team

we have to hope and pray for a Mets situation where the awful Mets owners sold the team to Cohen from the Wilpon's. Sometimes a franchise is owned by an owner's family for a few decades and then they sell. Hate to get morbid here but it will take Jerry dying for there to be progress on the ownership front. After he passes there might by investors outside of the Jones family that are willing to invest into the Cowboys and their success.

Not a Dallas fan at all but your chances are exactly the same as the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024 . Why ? Because about 10 seconds after a Superbowl champ is crowned . The NFL season is reset . This commentary is not a cheap shot at the Chiefs it is true for every year . NFL is unique among North America's pro sports league in that a playoff round is one game . Which means you can become champion by winning four games in a row . Not taking away from any Champion , but this year is the freshest . Other than the Miami game , all of the Chiefs playoff games , could easily have gone the other way . Even the most ardent Chiefs fan could admit that . Doesnt mean they arent good , we tend to downplay the roll of luck and Statistical probability. Let us examine the Superbowl . San Francisco lost an overtime game to the Chiefs , in the end the breaks went the Cheifs win. It easily could of gone the other way . Now back to the Cowboys , who's misfortunes I enjoy . The past has no relevance to the 24 season , sports talk show hosts pretend they do . Dallas has had some misfortunes in the playoffs, doesnt mean they cant go to the Superbowl . There is a fundamental misunderstanding in all this and we ignore the fact that repeat champions are the exception not the rule . Thats why the accomplishment stands out .
