I cried SO much when she died in the last episode, she was so valuable to the show and I did not realise until it was too late. Then I cried even more when I found out Kathryn passed away 20 days after the episode aired. RIP to Karen and her.
When you think that Carlos could have gone to jail, and that a lot of these child molesters were still walking the streets, Karen did an amazing confessing to something she did not do, because the one who did is also not guilty for ridding the world of a man who molested 2 teenagers.
this was truely one of the best twists in tv history.,. and the writing on the show is criminally underrated. mrs mccluskeys last act was to save all of them!
@@mattstorage7805because it was a fairytale ending with a lot of holes. There was so much evidence against Bree. Plus Karen was at the party seen by several people during the murder. And ik it’s a show but irl shedve been in jail til she died. But it is good writing for a fiction show

RIP Kathryn Joosten! She literally had lung cancer at the time and died later the same year that this episode aired. Both actress and character were amazing! RIP!
Kathryn Joosten didn't start acting until she was 42. She got her big break at 60. Proof it's never too late to follow your dreams. She was outstanding as Karen McCluskey.
