It's bittersweet watching this vid; some of the finest memories of my youth were the Friday nights running all four raids back to back with the mates- finishing with good ol' Wrath. Be it 6 man, 5 man, 4 man, 3 man, 2 man (or attempted solo runs), Wrath of The Machine was a fucking blast and is a fine work both stylistically and in a mechanical sense. While I don't play Destiny anymore, I would like to see myself returning in a long, long time- but until then, I'll always treasure the (perhaps rose-tinted) memories of Destiny 1 and the magnificent piece of art that was this part of my life.
I was never a FPS guy even during the times Halo and Call of Duty was all the craze, everything changed when I got my ps4 that came with Destiny1, linked up playing PVE with coworkers that gave me more insights on how the game works, later advance to PVP with my Titan, and Sur always gets me hyped for some dope items. It was the best experience ever. Hrs of gaming, then life happened. Fast forward later I recently got back into Destiny, and bought D2.. I’m so fuckin lost now lol
@@imcapo3204 D2 100% is mechanically a better game with better raids. But I prefer the grind heavy loot system from D1 plus WotM isn’t in d2 yet so I can come back and play!
I felt like the 390 raids were so challenging and satisfying due to there being no res capability. It forced some great 3-4 man strats to complete when teammates start goin down
@@Rjptz salvations has 1 encounter that is top 10 (verity). Last wish has 2 encounters that are top 10 (Vault/Riven). Kings hall has 2 top 10 encounters (golgaroth/Oryx). Vow has 1 top 10. (Rhulk) Deep stone has no top 10. Wrath has 4 top 15 encounters, including number 1
Black armoury wasn't an expansion, if your familar with the Sims video game series, thier akin to what that game calls "stuff packs" which are small scope updates that add essentialy new items. As Bungie prefaces in this artical, these expansions are medium in size, think more like between Shadowkeep/Beyond Light as apposed to Witch Queen/Final Shape obviously. Warmind/Curse however would be considered small by all rights. Furthermore I feel the term season is a bit of misnomer word when in this context, and I just think Bungie are using the term because its just familar to people abroad. Either way I love the new model, and I hope Bungie knock it out of the park.
I actually liked the new content model. They were right only one time of the year had any meaningful content now we get that 2 times of the year that's way better.
@@Benny_B0O0 I deleted around 12 characters and much of my gear when I played D1, vault space was always a concern and I rarely kept anything I didn’t use every single day.
