What a unique style he had. Long lenses, dutch angles, just the right amount of camera shake and slow motion. Nothing looked like a Tony Scott film before or since.
I just wanted to say i think i watch this tribute at least once a month over the years for inspiration. no matter how many times iv seen it I always get emotional. You managed to capture whats so special about Tonys films. I wanted to thank u for making this video and compliment you on a great job. Tony himself would have been proud of this edit. Rest in Peace Tony Scott.
All I could think of was Tony Scott and how many of his films and other director's oeuvre inspired by Scott's techniques were on this super montage! And in the end here it was - Dedicated to Tony Scott! What a filmmaker.
É muito bom ver isto: senso de equilíbrio, proporção, movimento, forma, imagens, cores, iluminação. Quanta riqueza .É assim que a gente aprende, vendo, sorvendo, absorvendo. Wow !
Perfection! This video is so well done I keep coming make to it so it can remind why I’ve fallen in love with movies. You should make one for TV shows, miniseries, documentaries, video games, and music!
so sad that the man behind TOP GUN, TRUE ROMANCE, CRIMSON TIDE, ENEMY OF THE STATE, SPY GAME, MAN ON FIRE and UNSTOPPABLE left us like that! miss you Tony!!
I'm glad I dug this out of a letterboxd comments section. A worthwhile experience for certain. Have you considered taking screen caps? It's sometimes nice to focus on the still as well as the moving and you've clearly shown you have a knack for it.
I have a question: At one point in the song, somebody is speaking in another language(sounds like German) Can someone please attempt to translate. Thanks
3 movies from this year could or rather "should" be in this, handmaiden, the wailing, and wilderpeoples. take care. oh no, did u leave out Kurosawa and leone or am i daft... dude your the man but sucker punch and spring breakers but no dollars or samurai. great work still :) cinemas
handmandien was or is a instant classic, top 50 ever easy. wilderpeople was really great, smart. and the wailing, man the cinemotography... just mind blowing, excellence, hitchcock kubrick type shit. trust me on those 3. will check out all your stuff... handmadien is top 25 ever

"I love challenge, I love being scared, I love creatively being scared, i love reaching in and touching these walls i never touched before and say dam how am gonna pull it off" Tony Scott This How every man should think.
An incredibly well done tribute! The average American does not have the faintest idea what a monumental task making a movie is. Tony Scott connected with a huge audience that loves cerebral action movies. My selfish side is mad that I will never see another new release by him, but I (we) are comforted by the astounding resume of work that he has left for us, forever...RIP
Denzel Washington, Scott's most frequent acting collaborator, said, "Tony Scott was a great director, a genuine friend and it is unfathomable to think that he is now gone." Directors UK chairman Charles Sturridge commented: "Tony Scott was a brilliant British director with an extraordinary ability to create energy on screen, both in action and in the creation of character." Awesome Tribute Simon (Y) RIP Tony
