How many more of these Silver Maple Trees do you have in your yard and have you had to remove anymore of them since you made these videos? How much did you pay to get this tree removed? My grandma has/had several of these silver maple trees in her yard and she has had to remove several of them over the years. We just had 2 of them removed this year for $1700 including one that was leaning on the house that had to go.

Hey Charles, I just received them lights a couple days ago and haven’t installed them yet. But the company recommends in their instructions download on their packaging to plug them directly into the reciever. I didn’t realize till last night that my buddy cut the wiring on my first tailight and spliced it into my green led body lights. So to be safe I ordered another tailight. I’ve seen other videos on these lights being installed and used on other Xmaxx’s and it doesn’t look that difficult. Even the hobby shop I got my truck from said to plug them into the reciever. I however will want to be able to turn my lighting On/Off so I’m being told to also run a switch. I’m probably gonna have help doing this being I know nothing about electrical.

Wow. I see your running the new Mad Maxx tires . Different gearing I’m guessing to? I wish I could send you my Maxx and have you do a bunch of upgrades to it. Especially in the wiring lighting dept. can you tell me where abouts you live in case we’re in the same state or area? I would love to have my Maxx lookn like that. I could even give you my cell so I could ask you whatever and it would be easier to comprehend and less writing. Do you have your lights plugged into your reciever or what? Can I ask where you got that front bumper skid plate? All that aluminum suspension looks so cool. I gotta order some new Murat Rc front and rear lighting kits. My buddy tried running them with an 11.1 v battery and we didn’t know the lights can only handle up to 8.4 v and we fried it. Murat has some very nice led kits you should check out. Thanks

Hey Scott, Do you know anything about wiring up them Murat Rc flush mounted dual front light bars? For some reason the dual front set up starts smoking the wiring after the TRAXXAS 11.1 v accessory Lipo is hooked up. The new Murat tailight doesn’t affect the wiring and works fine.

Scott, I'm told you can use ammo boxes to store lipos in In case something should happen. Do you keep your batteries inside your home or in an unheated garage? I would prefer inside just so their not freezing outside. There is no basement where I live. I've seen the Bat box vids for Lipo keeping to. Mine are always in their Lipo fire proof bags. Not sure how trustworthy these big 4s packs are. Thanks

So with a new Esc and a Castle motor upgrade, How do you even keep these Xmaxx monsters under control? These stock motors make the truck perform like hell. Lol. Mine is always flipping even in reverse.

very sick Maxx. I just became the owner of the green 8s xmaxx version. This truck is so fun. I had some custom lighting done. I have green leds that shine up under the body so it glows. I did a couple jumps with it and my headlight bar fell off and my taillight bar came apart. I need more beefier lighting. I really like your side lights. people sure can customize these things. I'm just learning about these trucks. why add a new motor and esc? This truck has gobs of power already. theres tons of xmaxx owners on youtube, I just wish I knew a bunch of you guys to go bashing with etc. put some led strips shining upwards next to your battery holders to make that awesome paint scheme come to life. way easier to see at night. keep up the awesome work and keep the videos coming.

what car stand are u using?

Really awesome truck. Can you plug the lights into the telemetry expander box and run them from there ? I just ordered some lights and wondered if i could do that instead of using the receiver box ?

great music sick truck id be like man get it dirty aah scratch it aah put badlands rims and tires on it yes and test it but it would be hard to bash it its so nice id shelf it for a while

if they had beadlocks so i just bought the badlands dont like glue at all the power the truck puts out dont trust glue

The cabling was not part of the bat safe that I bought either, they never said that it would be. However, I got my own cabling from my local hobby store, that you can clearly see in the video and it seems to work fine.

sadly though the connecting cable and JXT plug doesn't come with the box. I bought mine [bat-safe] 3 months ago from HobbyKing and had the box within days - I had to order the cabling from Bat-Safe directly - that was three months ago and after a heap of excuses - I STILL DON'T HAVE MY CABLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a pile of crap this Bat-Safe company is - I have a $100NZD tin box that does nothing but take up space. I hate getting ripped off. The Bat-Safe company sucks!

That truck looks sick. How is it holding up ? Did the aluminum stuff make it too stiff and strip out anything ?
