Next-Gen Gaming SC is a channel that is dedicated to Star Wars: Unlimited. The main goal of this channel is to bring professional video coverage from various tournaments. The coverage videos from these tournaments will be produced as if they were a live broadcast. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the content!

Glad you enjoyed it! It is definitely nice to feel better and not have the cough anymore. My voice still wasn't 100% when this was recorded, but it was great to get behind the mic again.
Man, what a whiff not choosing Bright Hope for the Avenger ability. That;'s the whole point of Bright Hope, you choose it and then Avenger's attack just fizzles out :/
Blake used the epic action ability on his base (Energy Conversion Lab) to play Steadfast Battalion and give it ambush. That allows you to attack with it into another unit right away.
Wanted to say great job with the channel - me and my brother just got a Starter Deck and found playing the game confusing despite having played other card games. Watched one of your videos and it was much clearer. Also enjoying studying the matches you have covered to understand the nature of tempo and relative value of each unit as I look to build my first deck and which style I might enjoy And you sound like a professional show host / sports commentator - clear and articulate, great tone and intonation... really amazing vocal presentation and easy to listen to while watching the game. It adds to the experience, without being distracting. Maybe you do this professionally, or maybe it's a new skill set, but either way, I hope you realize how naturally talented you are at this. It really comes across. And Fantasy Flight / LucasFilms / Disney... if you read this, hire this man to be the official commentator on your pro scene for sure _____ Ideas for videos: - Deck Tech & Sideboard Guides (helps me figure out the meta / which decks to build / invest in) - Short Interviews / Podcasts (aka. sideline interviews) with players who succeed in tournaments re: their decision making in deck building, the tempo of the game, matchups, etc. - Coverage of new cards coming out / spoilers and how they might impact the meta for constructed play and/or drafting These are some fun ideas, but watching the constructed gameplay and the excellent coverage you do is definitely the main reason I watched. My favourite channel for Draft/Constructed Magic: the Gathering is Nizzahon Magic. Perhaps check out his channel and some others in the Magic space to get more ideas on the types of coverage that these channels provide: www.youtube.com/@NizzahonMagic
Hi there! Thank you so much for the kind words. It is awesome to hear that you just started playing the game. It really is a fantastic game with great mechanics. I hope you and your brother continue to enjoy it and find a good local scene to get some organized play in. As for commentary, I do not currently do this professionally, but that is my goal. It is something I am very passionate about, and I am in the process of trying to take the right steps to move in the direction of making it a full-time career. I do appreciate all the ideas and will absolutely be checking out that channel, as I will look to improve my coverage of future events. Thanks for your support and for being a part of the channel!
24:02 The most sus Force Choke ever. Perfect cardsharking by Andrew to deny his opponent the ability to read the "draw a card" text. (Maybe an honest mistake. I guess. )
Yes, this took place back in June. I was still working on finishing up the coverage from the SCG Richmond 4k and was behind on the local store showdown coverage.
Yes. You can control two of the same character in this case, the Luke leader unit and the Luke unit. They are both unique units with the unique icon, but if they do not share all of the same attributes, you can control each at the same time. The main way to distinguish this is the subtitle of the card, which is right under the name. They have different subtitles and you can therefore control both. Hope this helps a bit!
Yes please feel better, your commentary is the only reason I’m interested is Star Wars Unlimited. Now I like the game, you must commentate every game on RU-vid please. The cards are not unique enough to see and the players(not their fault) don’t really announce what they’re doing well, on all games across the board.
Hello everyone! Fingers crossed that this will be the last video with no commentary. I am feeling much better, and my cough is almost completely gone. Thank you to each and every one of you for the continued support!
Rules need to be followed. If you let one person take something back, then you should let everyone. Then the slope gets steep very quickly. Plus, it is a big stakes tournament with serious players. Part of being a serious player is knowing and remembering board states, triggers, etc. Thanks for the coverage!
Why would Jimmy not clear nicks board? Nick with the initiative wins on the next swing so clearing his board would force him to play something, allowing Jimmy to claim initiative and keep the board clear to take the win.
That is a fair question for sure. I do not think he had an answer for when Boba flipped. If Nick flips Boba right away and Jimmy doesn't have an immediate answer, that is it. I believe that was likely the thought process.
@@Next-GenGamingSC Ahhh, you are correct, Nick hadn't deployed his leader at all...I guess it was just a lost game as he tried the base race and just never got commanding board presence
