Thank you so much. What are your thoughts on having a card appear each time a triggered effect takes place (when defeated, on attack, etc)? For this first video, I simply displayed a card when it was deployed, played, or had an action ability that was used. My thought is that I don't want to have cards appearing more than they need to, as it could feel a bit cluttered. Having cards fade out too quickly also defeats the purpose of putting them up in the first place. I am also curious about viewers opinion on a constant background music. I personally like the music at certain points in the video, but the commentary/table audio only during the game gives it more of a live match feel. Feel free to share your thoughts. Thanks!

Thank you! I completely agree. It was definitely an unfortunate game for Chirrut. I do believe it was a great lesson for some of our local players, though. Moving forward, I will likely have to be a bit more picky when it comes to which matches I feature. This is due to having a backlog of filmed matches.

Collins here, there’s a lot I liked about the deck, but it was more stressful to play than fun. Definitely some cards I would have ran more of in there if I could, but just don’t have them.

@@OtherVisionStudios Same with mine. Protector is good, Lightsabers are good, Electrostaff is good. The card that heals and damages is also very good. You want to save cards like Resilient for Chirrut himself, and don't play them early. You can safely drop those on him after he takes lethal damage. Also x-wing squadron leader, experience tokens are lovely.

How many copies of Vigilance are you running in that deck? Also, the Tarkintown miss play changed the game dramatically! Good to see another Chirrut deck though.

@@samuelrodriguez8941 For chirrut I think I only had the one copy of Vigilance in the deck at the time. Might be wrong about that, but pretty sure I only had one in my entire collection then.

This was a tough one for sure. A lot of our local players were still familiarizing themselves with the game, because this was filmed not too long after release. Thanks for stopping by and being a part of the channel!

I use Final Cut Pro for all of my editing. The overlays were made using a sports plug-in for Final Cut.

Guaranteed once a week, but my goal is to start getting out at least two each week.

I do appreciate you taking the time to comment. I will say that this match was filmed a while back, and a lot of us were still learning and trying to improve with the game being so new. Hopefully some of the players use this as a learning tool moving forward. Also, I will be much more selective of the matches used in these videos for future content, as I will simply have too much footage and viewers will generally not enjoy matches with a ruined game state.

Just my take here, since this is purely casual, I don’t mind. It adds to the drama. It’d be deeply frustrating with higher stakes.
