This is what I love to see. I need to do my wife's Element and I see this. Quick, to the point and not a 30 - 45 minute video of music and unnecessary chatter. You rock, my man!
"no adjustment solid axle" is the big lie that enables shops to charge $100 for turning the tie rods and printing out a paper for the customer showing everything is green and within spec. Then your car still handled like shit, realize your wheelbase is uneven, something their ultra sophisticated $50k hunter machine didn't pick up, but a mere $1 tape measure from the dollar store showed in less than a minute.
So happy to found your video, Having to replace the transmission mount & Power Torque Upper/Lower mount on my 03. This video is very simple and quick, Any reccomendation tools to use while doing the job?

If you remove the Lock Rod, can you still open the car from inside by pulling on the corresponding cables? I need to replace a door lock on one car, since replacing the damaged door, and not quite sure if I will put back that Lock Rod immediately (that part of the project looks the most complicated to me, that is what was done @ 3:00 and @7:18). Thank you for this great and informative film again.
