This the best explanation video on repairing & replacing the Nissan door lock actuator. The video and the narration are exceptional. Thank you for your expertise.
Wow! This video is the flawless! I am going to change mine on my 2010 Nissan Altima. Good hint: Check the fuse in case both actuators don’t work. But my left door actuator does work assuming it’s not the fuse itself. Great video! I do have purchased the T-30 torx, which has to remove three bolts I see😅.
good shit dude, you helped me do this myself. my car was a little different (didnt have that last clip before taking actuator out) but everything else was the same. a lot of the stuff was a pain in the ass. you made it look easy lol
Hi Lena..thank you so much..haha You don't need the power tools. I just use them because it's faster..😁 you can use basic hand tools . A good tool set is all you need to get the job done!
@@luckysdiygarage Thank you! I'll check. At AutoZone they didn't know what it, is and guessed that it might be a weather strip adhesive. I bought some, but was in doubts. I looked now on Amazon and it is exactly what I needed (tube between the layers, I think I need 1/4"), and looks exactly the same as the original. Thank you again.
if none of the doors work would you need 4 actuators? when i press the power lock button i hear clicks from the drivers side but it doesnt do anything, im not sure if its the actuators or something else
Hi I have a 2018 Nissan altima sr my passenger Door open but doesn’t look if I press the lock button inside the vehicle or the key fob. All 3 other doors lock except passenger door. I have to due it manually. What can it be ?
@elemus831 I would check The door lock actuator.. When you press on the key fob do you hear anything happening on the Passenger side door. Any sounds coming from the door
That cable to the handle doesn't need to be moved. Just remove the cable from the new one and toss it. Use the existing cable to the handle and connect it to the actuator.
