If you’re getting wing stalls you’re pulling way too hard, energy is life and turning bleeds it off, got to manage the rate of turn to keep the speed where you need it. As for IDing targets, I’ve made a video on it called “Tired of Teamkilling?” There are some energy management tips in there as well.
love the concept of these servers my only issue is how much of an airquake these are, cant have a single good dogfight without 3 more guys jumping in :(
@@kizvy Oh yeah it’ll easily rinse the T-2, the Crusader I’ve not seen much or really flown so couldn’t say for sure but I’ve killed them with the MiG-17 so I’d imagine it’s not too much of a stretch for the Farmer 👌🏼
I don’t know unfortunately, my assumption was that anyone without the SC wouldn’t be suffering from the issue to begin with. You’re the first person I’ve seen providing evidence to the contrary - might have to just wait for the next patch unfortunately.
Great vid as usual. You may have to up your GPU card with the Pimax as I have the same CPU as you x2, and have a 4090 in one system and a 4080 Super in the other, and both can be taxed depending on the settings, so I think a 4070ti might be a little light in the magazine. Who knows though. Either way, congrats on Pimax, great headset, best bang for the $ right now IMO.
Actually I just remembered HIP Games did a review using a 2060 and seemed able to maintain a “workable” (30-40) frame rate - I’ve got to manage better than that, surely?
@@Bullet4MyEnemy It depends on expectations and settings - I have seen some guys with the 4070ti who were happy with their Pimax results recently - I come from having nearly every VR headset though, and always have the fastest GPU available. I've come to love the Pimax more than my go to Varjo Aero, but I have a lot of settings turned way up. Don't be disheartened yet, not until you try it, as you have the best gaming CPU out there IMO, and that plays a huge part. What I will say is that in PVP where checking your 6 is so critical, it's going to be a big change for you having to turn your head, even if you use the "NeckSaver" apps available.
@Gman-109 I’m testing things on the F-5 intercept free flight and getting about 60-70fps, but goddamn the turning issue is a pain in the arse. I physically can’t turn myself flexibly enough to see past ~120° from centre without my head clipping through the canopy, it’s awful. Also I can’t seem to get the IPD right, either the cockpit is crisp and target aircraft are doubling up, or the other way around… Even now typing this on my phone I feel like my eyes aren’t focusing properly, it’s like I’ve been wearing someone else’s glasses (I don’t wear glasses/contacts etc) and it’s screwed me up. Also my face and PC feel on the brink of catching fire 😅
I love the F-5E, and bought the module because of your videos, but man there aren't many Caucuses servers to play on in it. GS has so many F-16s and F-15s with AIM120Cs that it's not very fun, and not many Cold War servers run Caucasus. Hopefully, the next ED sale will have Syria on a better discount than this last Summer's sale.
It’s worth getting the Syria map, opens up your options quite a bit. Enigma’s server will be the best for you but it rotates between Cauc and Syria as well as era (60/70/80s) but only 60s is on Cauc so you’ll not see it as much as Syria. I’m not sure if it’s included in the sales or not, but if you’re on standalone you could trial it to get your fix for a limited time.
@@Bullet4MyEnemy For sure! I am totally missing out by not having Syria! I should be able to trial it again really soon as I tried it out earlier when I got into DCS. And I think I will try and grab it regardless of the discount % on the next ED sale. Opening up GF, ECW, and Contention to play on will really expand the fun I can have.
this was a really entertaining video bullet. hope to see some more in the future. i always like to see an underdog in DCS. i got bored of everyone always playing in the best fighters all the time.
