Been looking at several of these mower builds and there arte things you've done here I like a lot, the tires will not chew up the lawn, the motor setup is not high dollar wheelchair/scooter parts, and it is wide. I would like to get a copy of the CAD files and anything else that applies. Good job and many thanks for sharing. DC
I've done a few, so great to see someone else's vision. I see you're using an alternator off the shaft - when I did that with a 24v alt, I found it got extremely hot as it's constantly working at max capacity, and eventually its shaft would swell and bind against the bearings. Do you have any similar problems?
@@marmasteris Interesting - that might be my issue - my alt is only 52a and I've got four wheelchair motors. The 5.5hp engine isn't quite powerful enough to run the alt and cut thick grass either, so I've just removed it and put a couple more batteries there for now, lasts an hour of heavy use which is a full tank of petrol too.
Awesome content, doyou have the specs available & also the Cad drawings. What motors are you using for the 4x4 and also the 3 motors for the grass cutting blades. What is thesize and weight of your machine? Thanks for any help you can provide.
I would like to get the cad plans or hire you to make me 2 of them. One as a mower. And the other with just a flat deck on top to move stuff around like car motors. A machine simular to the one at minute marker 9:42. But I want turf saver tires on the mower instead of wheel barrel tires and those bar tread tires on the mover.
bought em 2 packs of 4 and they were top quality and stayed balanced... for months now we test em with a friend and they are amazing... // wanted to make a powerstation... cylindrical cells are the best for portable diy creations!!!!
Awesome, fantastic! This DIY RC lawn mower is one of the best, even if not the best, I have seen. It effortlessly cuts tall grass, due to the 4-wheel-drive design, it manoeuvres well in difficult terrains such as slops, it weighs ideally for stability in mowing grass and moving in various directions while not over burdening the motor . Well done! I would humbly suggest you to refine, package and commercialize this fantastic mower. Thanks
I don't remember the length of the wire. You can easily calculate the length yourself. The direction of rotation is easily changed by swapping any two phases of the controller.
Very nice. I did a similar DIY build. I had the same ideeas for the wheels but I had problems. The wheel hub just shattered. My robot weighs 120 - 130 KG. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BJQZnkgTJwQ.html I had the same ideas for the chain tensioner :) But I found a better way that worked for me as I only have two motors. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7DUQMMLatK8.html Here's my robot at work on a > 2000m surface with lawn/weeds/trees. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7WwkW2uazWI.html
There are plans, but not complete. I redid some parts during the production process. For example, I made the frame without any plans.Motors MY1016Z3 350W 24V
@@marmasterisHello 😊, thank you for info about motors, but how you build this wheels , rims etc. I see you use supersprox with some adapter ? Hub ? This will help me thank you .
@@martinchyska1669 I bought wheels, sprockets and made adapters based on them. There is a lot of turning work here. You can't do without a lathe. Most of the parts are laser cut from 5mm and 6mm steel.
@@marmasterisohh that’s the little problem for me I have non of this devices :( but thank you very much for answering. I would really like to build this stuff but looks like I would need some help 😊. If you can send me some more details I will be very glad. Thank you !!!

is there a reason you got rid of the meaty tires? if its because of the skid steer the geometry might just be bad if you are too long and not wide enough it will result in alot of slipping around but i liked the knarley tires.
