My name is Trevor Savage and I'm a 38 year old professional poker player from New Jersey. This channel is home to the Play Every Hand Challenge. The rules of the challenge are that I must play every hand deal in unless there is a 3 bet or an all in before it gets to me. The goal is to win $2,000 to donate to charity. My beautiful wife Jody and I have three kids: Ava, Cameron and Andrew. They will also make occasional appearances on the channel, mostly for comic relief. We also have a weekly podcast, called the Raising the Nuts podcast, which comes out every Wednesday at 5 am EST. Thanks for the support!
💛💛💛 I am just hearing this news and I am very sorry for the loss of this yourg man. Sending healing vibes to your family and everyone involved. Thank you for both ups and downs with us. I hope life sends you some love and grace.
Thank you for addressing my email! As I have grown older and begun to lose family and my close friends begin to lose family that I know, I recognize that it is more important to celebrate the good times. I have spent time in the funeral home, visiting with those friends sharing my memories of their loved one. They are usually fun stories and make us all laugh at the recollection. It's what I want at my viewing. It is what I remember of my father's viewings. I want my loved ones to know the memories I have of their lost family and what they meant to me. It makes my friends smile and cry and astonishes their children at things their grandmother/father have done! Life is to be celebrated, we are sad because we miss what could have been. Dwell on the good times and good memories, that's what is most important.
I have 2 daughters and totally understand what you guys are saying about them growing up so quickly. And they don't even recognize it or understand it, but you're just like STOP!! My youngest daughter just started walking and that hits hard when you realize she doesn't need you anymore to move around. It hit me with my first daughter as well. It's something about your child's dependence on you, and they grow up and become less dependent on you. You want to be in control because you know your intentions are best and they're protected. But ultimately they're becoming a functional human which is great, but super sad 😢
what you are trying to tie into the conversation as a whole is the idea that I can't deal with as a father. Time flies by, you don't know if you or the ones that your world revolves around will be here tomorrow.
You said in your video that you're primarily an online poker player. How is that? Last I checked there was no legal way to play online if you live in the United States
I ain't going lie, I couldn't help but laugh at the end of the video with the image of your daughter holding the winning hand and a smile on her face, while your son is in the background suffering and completely dejected.
It’s possible down the road… actually next week should be put on Tuesday because it will be zoom style because Jody will be in Florida. Hopefully as I get used to editing it, I’ll be able to get them out on Tuesdays but no guarantees
Sorry for lack of videos! I still do a weekly podcast called raising the nuts and we are entering season 4 and I’ll be posting video of it here weekly each Tuesday!
Just played that casino. Just 1-3 but I did it for hours and hours and hours lol. 8+12+14. Had a lot of serious stuff on my head but I hope to go back and not be so upset because that’s a fun place. Kind of a funny story. I’d won in Tulsa the hot seat before I left and flew to Albany and the casino manager got my DL mixed up with someone else’s so when I got there I figured I’d ply dumb if I got caught using someone else’s DL but nope haha. So at door=good, then went and got my players card with that other guys ID, good to go. Played on “his” DL and players card for three days. Be funny when he starts getting mail in Oklahoma for a casino in New York. It is funny to me but I’m looking forward to some day being able to go back, good poker room
Just ran the first hand through a solver and it does say that jack-high on this turn is a three-bet shove in a five-bet pot. Can't be results-oriented here. It was sound GTO poker; just a cold deck.
Just got home from a cash game session. I'm soooo glad those two crushers weren't at my table! I would've got destroyed! Lolol Great seeing the fam, hope all is well, and have a very Merry Christmas!!
