In today's #RaisingTheNuts #pokervlog, we continue on with the Play Every Hand Challenge, this time at the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore, MD. The rules of the challenge are that I'm not allowed to fold unless there is an all-in or a 3 bet before it gets to me. I am allowed to limp into the pot and then fold. This is the 13th time I've done the challenge and I'm up $1,339 going into this session. The goal is to win $2,000 to donate to charity. I share all 66 hands I play in this session in the video! Trevor, your V.O. skills have truly blossomed. I literally laughed out loud multiple times ("Original Poker Star went home to his mom's basement"). BTW I still have a rain jacket with that logo. I'm also intrigued by your ability to truly grind a profit with a near 100% vpip. You prolly could have won a decent side bet from me by cross booking your profit. Can you make a video on how you take notes on all these hands at the table. It's very impressive. I'm sure having the video to go along with it makes it a little easier.

So I take two phones with me, one for recording, one for note taking. For the notes, I just have to write down the cards on the board because I have a really good memory so I'm able to remember all of the action and if I forget a specific bet size I have the video to go back to like you mentioned. It is a ton of work though because for the entire time I'm playing I'm doing something since I'm either in a hand or writing down notes

Hey Trevor. First off, let me say that I absolutely love these Play Every Hand challenges and your presentation skills. Assigning nicknames to the other players is awesome and I hope you keep doing that. Also really appreciate your dry humor. Question for you...If you were one of the other players and were sitting at a table with someone doing a Play Every Hand Challenge, what steps would you take against that person (hopefully no one reading this ends up playing against you in one of your sessions :). I'm curious because I think people at your table are probably not making the proper adjustments to their game and I think it would be interesting to hear your perspective playing from the other side of things (which might stem from the fact that they don't realize what you're doing...although GTO guy did).

Hey Joe! Thanks! It's funny that you mention this question because in my video coming out next week I play with two people to my direct left that also seemed to be doing the play every hand challenge so you'll get to see some adjustments I made. A lot is going to depend on what position you have against them, how well they play postflop, how good they are at constructing and balancing pre flop decisions and how the rest of the table is playing. If I were able to clone myself and have position against original me, I would likely start by 3 betting a lot in late position spots and if original me is limping then I would be raising really wide (this however depends on how rest of table is playing). Methodical is my spirit animal. Were it not that I've never been to a MD casino I would have sworn it was me playing against you. I never longtank while paralyzed with indecision, but every decision takes several seconds longer than it should as I weigh the options, count the pot, reassess who is in the pot, what's happened in the hand thus far, identify any reads...etc. God forbid I'm about to make a bet or raise. That will definitely add another 20 second rain delay as I deliberate on the perfect amount. My brain moves slow and I'm easily confused so I run through my thought process for way too long in way too many spots. Yea, I'm fun to play with.

I play at horseshoe several times a week! As soon as I saw you were there I had to watch the video hoping I was at the table, just to see the nickname you would give me. Lol unfortunately I was not at this one. Would love to play some poker with you some day. Seems Horseshoe standard raise on 1/3 is $13. Then flop bet of $24-$32 lol. It gets annoying, but very profitable to play at horseshoe

Just started playing every hand weeks back and I have a decent success ratio during my online turnaments but the trick is to switch on and off throughout the game..Made a few final tables..great work Trevor..Love the videos..

The glass makes absolutely no sense!! You touch everything and then slide dirty chips around the table so what exactly is the glass for? I’ve been jonesing to play but I can’t play looking like I robbed a stagecoach... this is tragic but I loved to watch the fast paced vlog. You are definitely entertaining sir!!

I agree with the conditions. I'm pretty sure this was done to at least make it "appear" safe. I've played maybe 4 times since they re opened, brought my own hand sanitizer, wipes, and Lysol spray lol. Probably not worth the risk, but I did hit 2 high hands this past Thursday at Horseshoe Baltimore. Quad 5's, and an 8 high straight flush for $500 each.

certain casinos you cant even eat or drink at the table. I think it makes it easier for ppl to focus on the game. With the plexi-glass you want to always keep in mind who has a hand and be wary of certain players. for good players i think they will be alright during the covid poker crisis also less players can be a good thing for regs

Hey Topher! I'll probably mention this is the next video but since this is for entertainment and for charity if someone knows what is going on and is trying to take advantage of the situation in that way then I reserve the right to just fold and move on. I'd likely switch tables at that point so I hope that if anyone who is out there watching these videos and ends up at the same table with me will be cool and not do something like that

Trev, there's gonna be a time where someone knows what your doing. Both sitting 600 deep. He gets aces and is the initial raiser and he makes it 595 knowing that you HAVE to call 😆😆

Hey Kelly! I've always said I reserve the right to just fold in those types of situations if someone is clearly trying to take advantage of the situation. Because I'm doing this for charity and for entertainment, if someone did that it would be pretty grimey and I would just not call and switch tables or whatever. Hope you are doing well!

These do exist but they are just preflop charts and they aren't very relevant for live play

Yeah and I find the whole challenge pointless and makes the videos unwatchable because it makes all pre-flop decisions non-standard, and affects later streets as well. How is it interesting or relevant to normal poker when you arrive on the flop with 94o in a raised pot?
