I heard many arguments using this hadith “Cut the moustache and let the beard grow; be different from the unbelievers.” (al-Bukhari, al-Libas, 5442; Muslim, al-Taharah, 382) But there are many disbelievers, that cut the moustache and let the beard grow, so how are we the believers different from the disbelievers then? So, isn't it more logical that keeping Beard is Sunnah following the Prophet s.a.w. character and not wajib?
I am a very new 83 year old Revert who lives in a very hot climate. The first day I wore a hijab around my head and shoulders, I almost had heat stroke. Plus, I have an auto-immune disease that gets worse with heat. The people around me were very concerned and the unspoken question was, why on earth are you wrapped up like that in thus heat. It only reinforced the idea that Islam is a religion that oppressed women and forces them to wear uncomfortable, harmful clothing. I can't believe that a loving God would want this.
On islam we don't force people to wear hijab or the niqab. But wearing hijab is a command for us. You had a heat stroke because you probably didn't know how to wear hijab in summer. We wear hijab all time even if it's 100°c. And there are many summer hijab tutorials you can follow on RU-vid or any social media. And you might be wondering why god will command their people to wear hijab? You can find full answer in youtube i cannot explain BC it's too long. I want to become a doctor, obgyn to be specific to treat and help the women of our ummah for the sake of allah. Inshallah. Alhamdulillah i wear hijab but i really wanted to know if niqab is fardh because going to medical school and performing exams requires you to show your face. There is lots of difference between real sex and oral sex(masturbation).Because by imagination it is not possible to have sex.Hands are rough,dry and cold while Vagina(women private part) is soft ,wet and hot. Islam actually came and condemned those who buried their daughters, it gave women the right to study way before the west, it gave the women the right to inherit, it commands children to respect and honour their mothers (also fathers), and it gave women the right to work etc... the difference between Islam and those you're talking about is that Islam commands us to do things (not sure about niqab) but doesn't force us to do things. We can choose to obey or disobey, but the catch is that we can't choose the consequences.
