Once upon a time in my 20's, I dreamed of living in France on a property like this. However, my dreams were shattered when my French fiancé of 3 years and I broke up. My dreams changed 2 years later in Chapel Hill North Carolina when I met the love of my life whom I now have been married to for 24 years and have twin sons who are 20. I still dreamed of living on a place where there was water and trees. two years ago, we realized that dream. Now in our 50's it's not easy renovating a property but I find inspiration in watching your channel and Budo and Tracey's. I saw their video with you and came over and have been watching all your back episodes. I look forward to seeing how you make this property a home and I am sure I will find a lot of inspiration along the way. We moved just outside of Apex toward Sanford NC to build our dream.
Did u ever sell your place in France ? Great to see u both enjoying yourselves too . Pleased it was a no with Pitbulls living next door not great for the cats !!!
Re: Planting the trees > The top of the soil in the pot....@25:27 > should be at the same Level as the ground. Too DEEP is not good...for so many reasons. Are You planting a tree too deep? >>> Always plant a tree at the same level as the soil in the pot or top of the root ball.” One of the most common mistakes is planting a tree too deep which can lead to..... an early death for the tree. An easy way to determine the proper depth, no matter what size or species of tree you are planting, is to ensure that its “trunk flare” is above the surface of the soil.
Lovely to see you again sorry to hear about France I've come across the issues with them before, lovely to see you back in the USA a great country, you two are so resilient hope all goes well this time I'll be eager to see and thanks for the pleasure. take care xx
Lovely to see you exploring and enjoying your environment. Hopefully a home will present itself soon. Is there no chance of going back to France...... chapter closed? If not, you'll make a good life, whenever you settle..❤
When I was a kid, back in 1967, we spent 3 weeks in Canada at Niagara Falls. I saw my first ever Carnival there and this reminded me of it so much. Thank you.
So good to see you, my friends! I was a goat herder once upon a time & know the trouble they can get into, but I love them just the same. Glad you are getting settled in and hope you find the perfect home soon❣️ PS loving my spice rack!
We're so happy to see you two again! ❤ Daren, you should be in commercials. That was enjoyable to watch. You would make a great spokesman/presenter! With Pam's camera work of course. Sending positivity and good vibes your way. 💪 ❤ Bryan & Nora
The parade was amazing they really make a huge effort it’s so wonderful. Yummy bbq’s I’m envious. I agree with you if the neighbours are going to treat their dogs like that on a hot day Lord knows it’s not a good idea to be anywhere near them. Love where your at it’s such a relaxed vibe ❤
A beautiful video by two beautiful people, Thank you for taking us along on this your magical journey. So good to see you both again, sending love to you and your fur babies❤😊
I was just thinking yesterday, "Where is Mr. Bloke? Have they found a house yet?" Those are some good sized goats! They're almost Shetland pony sized! You guys seem to have found a nice area to live in, although if its a choice between a beach and a mountain...I'm going for the mountain every time. (40 years of living in Colorado! 🤷) Seafood might make me change my mind.
What fun. I know it’s a strange thing to say but all the signage is in english. I’m not being pomp arse, it’s just strange now. Greetings from Australia.
