I'm also concerned that the threaded rods could settle into the base poles over time because there is nothing grounding them out. By hammering them instead of turning them in, you've blown out the wood that could be holding the threads. I don't see it falling over but it could eventually fall out of plumb and put additional stresses on the joinery.
I hit them down till they bottomed out in the hole. It's been 2 years now and I have not noticed any movement yet only time will tell. Thanx for watching
Hello Avram! You have skills with hand and tools. But you must absolutly learn a lot about construction and how to buld so the H2O not be a problem. Your grounding, flooring and roofing are disasters. But dont give up you hav skills and persistance. And that you have to lerarn isn´t complicated. Best regards Klas - from Sweden.
Not wood worm looks to be moth larvae woodworm lays it's eggs into sap wood grain on hard woods and any soft wood grain you don't get to see them until they exit leaving the usual tell tale holes.
wow i hated the size of my workshop until i seen yours not meant as a insult but i realize i have more space than others. lovely job and you defiantly earned my subscription.
I wondered why the scarf I saw was never over a post . It makes sense to me now because the wood will defect and the least over the post. Like a fret on a cord
Really good video man. Just wondering regarding the end piece of white timber that you don't like that isn't treated. Would it be worthwhile just torching it so that it's darker and treats it at the same time?
