The biggest issue for this game is how much of a slough fest the early game can be. Treasures are a must and no one thinks they’re fun to get, I’m not sitting through 50 hours of boring gameplay just to get to the fun part. There’s now 9 chapters of treasures to get now I believe, what a horrible design choice. If you want to progress you have to grind boring stages over and over again. The biggest problem with the game is the fun to time spent ratio, unfortunately you have to spend a ton of time just to play a few levels that are interesting and challenging. Imo not worth it unless if you’re a long time player.
This is an issue with ponos entire design philosophy, rather than going back to balance or mend outdated systems or units, they would rather just add things that don’t really solve poor development decisions. Like adding UL to basically counter mitama because she was destroying SoL, but rather than fixing it, it just introduced worse power creep into the game.
The game isn‘t PTW. You can EASILY play the game without spending a fucking cent. Every day in the shop you can get 10K XP just for watching an ad. And ads don‘t RANDOMLY pop up wich sou HAVE to go through. Watching ads is optional. There aren‘t even that much ads
No. Just no. It has the crappiest Moderation ever. You get banned for saying something nice. You don‘t get banned if you bully ppl. Just cuz popular don‘t mean it great.
I agree, but I hate the account system deeply! Device broke and you do t have the correct codes? Restart! They should make it so you can share an account on 2 devices
Yeah this game is great but the gacha system is really bad, there's no luck in the gacha, the rolls are already determined by seeds, and you can exploit this system to your favor. The good thing is that the game is not pay to win so you can play without ubers, but anyway as most of the gachas in any game, its just a scam if you spend money on it.
Ive played battle cats on and off since like 2014. Even though I often get burned out on it I will always consider it in my top 5 favourite games ever. It’s such a comfort game with chill gameplay and it’s just perfect. Plus you’re basically never done because there’s so much to do
