I don't live in the US. I live in Europe. But I feel like my life needs a reset and I love japanese language so much might as well do it... I am software engineer so I think I can get job easily. I studied japanese for 3 years at university [before switching to programming] as a major but I kinda forgot all of it so I gotta redo that before moving to Japan

@petervansan1054 I leanred Japanese for 3 years in highschool than took a year and a half break and I'm back at it. Learning Japanese is lowkey fun.

making friends in japan is really easy if you speak a bit of japanese, and are willing go to events and talk to people just extange twitters and dm each other until you hang out all the time

I’ve wanted to move there ever since i visited last year. Not because i admire the “ 🤓 anime life” but because i genuinely like how quiet and orderly the society is (I’m autistic and get sensory issues but in Japan I didn’t experience it much) I have been looking at so many ways I can move there and I’m feeling like giving up because of how hard it seems. I don’t even know where to start. I have already been learning the language over the past year but i genuinely believe im too stupid and should give up 😅

Honestly same, I admire Japan mostly because of how well discipline and peaceful everything is, and I'm also not too big on the anime aspect of it.

When it comes to the language, just learn the vocab first then sentence structure, I've been doing that for around two months and I'm starting to get a grasp at it. Don't give up 👍

are you sure youve been to japan before? its quite difrent than what you described, the geography and life in japan is so difrent than any western country, i prefer it much more than living in other countries

@@Torkot if misty ped said this to me in japan id be like sure why not lets be besties romates, but since theyre probably a westerner it makes sense to be wary and careful, afterall western countries still have crime

dc is still quite difrent from japan..... japan is kinda cheap compared to western countries, i challange you to visit japan and see how it really feels, its the small things thats hard to make a comparison, thats the stuff that really matters in day to day life

Of couse I'm just comparing them on a surface level, like in one minute in dc your in a suburbs area, then take a few step then your in a city area and they're all connected through a metro system. I'm just going off of my prior knowledge of Japan.

@@Torkot i think its all about social culture and entertainment economy in japan, thats why its so difrent, thats why anime and manga come from japan etc
