Remembering the whole show ... Everyone bothered me. But especially Dylan, who was only brought in to make me think Amy and Madison were not as annoying, by comparison. A rich girl (good for Ben on surface) that only attempts to get Ben involved in more trouble. She even tries to force Ben to forgive Henry only to prove he was over his ex. She obsesses over Ben's relationship with Adrian to the point of ridiculousness. She stalks Ben, even, and shows up uninvited to his dad's mansion and his school. (In related news to the second season, Ben confesses he slept with Maria to Dylan at least partially by mentioning Bologna.) Nora was one of my favorite characters, and was honestly the best written character on the show. Ricky was a better written character in the first and a half two seasons before he becomes a condescending Gary-Stu. Ashely was better character before they made her a traitor to her sister. Ben was a cool guy, and actually a good written character, before they derailed him in season 5. Seasons 3 and the first half of season 4 was Ben's best arc. Adrian was a good character with a great character arc with Ben, the 2nd best written character, but she grew kinda more and more heartless as the show went on.
The guy playing Bens dad went from the American classic The Sopranos to The secret life of the American Teenager. What a downfall. Steve Schirripa: Bobby Baccalieri Jr.
I died 😂 this scene “ doesn’t have to change us, I have a calculus test tomorrow and great pecan pie” “here’s what I think of PECAN PIE” I ALWAYS watch this scene at least 10 times 😅 I swear I lose 5 pounds watching it 😂😂
@@pleaseshutup7053I don't really see how. But I'm also not somebody that really sees infidelity as a problem 😂😂😂 people gonna do what they're gonna do it Was realistic. I don't think the show's purpose was to be innocent I think it was to be realistic and help young people know how to navigate their own lives a little better and that they're not alone. But we are all entitled to our opinions and on feelings I just Really don't like this video it's not accurate to the show at all, and things aren't even remotely in order
@@composeryoullknow what I meant by innocence is the show changed. Ricky and Adrian’s relationship carried the show they were the only consistently interesting part. Ricky and Amy had no Chemistry. Ben and Amy were annoying. Doesn’t Adrian start dating a teacher or something. I enjoyed the first season the most and then by the second seaosn Adriana acting all jealous and moving next door was the only interesting part about the show
I feel like if they were to do something like this again it would have to be their kids and seeing their reactions if they (their boys) got their friends teen girls pregnant I think that would be cool to see. Although I kind of envision my mom getting pissed at me and wanting to kill me at first (if this happened to me irl) but calming down and giving me options and letting me think about them before I told my dad. But seriously (and I might get mom shamed for this) but I showed my daughter the episode where Amy had her baby and I told her to not do that because she wouldn’t be able to finish her childhood with a baby and I don’t want that for her in high school…UNLESS she’s a teen mom to a puppy that’s what I’ll let her do I’m ok with that but she needs to do puppy first THEN baby. (That’s my opinion though).
I watched this show as a way to show me what NOT to do in high school and I believe I was in elementary school at the time I was watching this show and it’s safe to say that I didn’t get pregnant in high school but 2 years after I graduated I did. But besides the point even though my mom got mad at me for watching this show she now understands that I was watching it to not end up a teen mom like you see in movies, television and real life.
Idk why in later episodes Ben just expected Amy to forgive him and be his friend after finding out Adrian was pregnant with his baby. Knowing that the circumstances with Amy being pregnant by Ricky were completely different. Amy and Ricky had sex on a wim and it in turn resulted into a child. Amy didn’t even know Ben when her and Ricky had sex. Adrian and Ben had revenge sex because Amy and been broke up and ricky and Adrian broke up to they came together for revenge and it backfired.
So them having sex was okay. They used proper protection, they had a pre- existing relationship (friendship). Both took complete responsibility for their actions that night. Which means they were in a better situation. I mean Ricky didn't give 2 shots about Amy, he didn't even care if he had a disease. He only knew she was clean. He by admission, & reputation coerced her. So how was their experience worse??? In all honesty their reason for sleeping together was better since they did it with agreement and full knowledge. Where both Amy and Ricky reasons are murky.😮😮😮😮
I agree, the writers did that for fangirls who want a guy to be obsessed over them. Which makes no sense because Amy has nothing significant to offer. She is not that pretty, she isn't that smart, she has a baby as a teenager, she isn't wealthy, she is a prude/tease, she is selfish, mean, condescending, a d obnoxious, a d narcissistic, worst of all she us connected to Ricky who is exactly like her. I mean she did nothing and offered nothing to him in their whole relationship. WHY HE GAVE A SHIT A OUT HER IS LUDACRIS & IM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE RAPPER.😅😅😅😅😅
