This is our story of our life renovating, sailing, and living on our beautiful Sailboat Macushla. Shes a Cutter Ketch Bayfield '40 We sailed our beautiful ‘new to us’ boat out of Bayfield Ontario for the 1st time Aug 24, 2017. From that moment forward it’s been an incredibly wild, exhausting, exhilarating journey.
As you have seen we brought our beautiful boat South from Sheboygan Wi, to the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean. Where will we go from here???? Who knows. We are just taking it one day at a time.
Our foreseeable plans have gone with the wind, but new opportunities may emerge with the change in tides. Who knows what tomorrow may bring. As they say… ‘Fair Winds and Following Seas.’”

Thank you for the Superior video! I sail mostly around Mackinac island-small sailboat-but I have wanted to visit the Slate islands since reading Marlin Bree and his description of the island group and Rossport. Looks like the fog was thick when you passed through.. thanks again!
HI - As you can see Im terribly SLOW at responses here. Its a STUNNING area. If you do head that way I highly recommend getting Bonnie Dahls book. Shes incredible. Have a blast!
I just realized how important is the "intro" that irritated me so much on sailing channels I watch. :-)) It might be annoying if youre binging a few episodes, but when you come across a single video like I just did, I REALLY wish you had one. Checked "About" - very limited info. Where do I learn more about you and your travels?

From the time we dropped to stepped the mast we were on the canal a total of 10 days. You can obviously go much slower....or faster. We stepped the mast in Catskill just outside of NYC.
Sailing RU-vidrs are about sailing. Extreme closeups of you you talking are a barrier of your vids taking off. Good music, decent editing, interesting content. I’m still stuck on LM so you’re ahead of me regardless of my observations. 👍😂 Cheers.
Aint that the truth! 😄 Also kinda why were not just a "Sailing" channel if ya know what I mean. I (Missy) Love documenting our life and sharing bits of our journey....I also get MURDEROUSLY SEASICK. The rare occasions were sailing & Im feeling good AND happen to have a charged camera will make their rare appearance ;). In the meantime Thanks for watching the other bits of the crazy life a sea.
