The Free Range Squad is on a perpetual search for a cure to nature deficit disorder while sharing our experiences to inspire others to live a life on the fringes of civilization. Follow us on our journey as we seek to inspire our children to become global-minded citizens by engaging in a cultural exchange during our travels.
Yes, this video is relatively recent 😆 We sailed on July 27th from New Orleans. This was the last in a series of other videos from our ports of call, including Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. If you check out my most recent videos, I take a deeper dive into all the fun experiences we had. Thanks for visiting my channel and showing some love @danniedecker7459 🔥🔥🔥
Yo! @theonlyx3nzo I didn’t bring anything but plenty of ppl were using carts. Sadly, there are so many people using various nicotine vapes it became hard to tell what was what. All good vibes during our trip 🤙🏾 Carry-on at your own risk ⚠️
@notnowaynotnohow there is an area where you can access the water without jumping in. It is the same place where we exit the water after jumping in. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for stopping by my channel and showing some love @PatriotPaul1984! We moved from SD a few years ago and miss this spot. Can't beat the freedom of boating and OHV riding in the same area! Have fun
Oh yeah! My dad & mom were supposed to be with us on this trip but got stuck in the airport when the CrowdStrike software update took down most of the airlines in July. Sad they missed an epic trip...
Most of our crew was afraid to jump in because they were worried about the bats inhabiting the cenote. If you know us, we weren't going to let that stop us from the experience!
What a beautiful family. Glad you enjoyed your stay in New Orleans. I'm about to cook myself some smothered okra and shrimp with rice and tomatoes, wish y'all were here 😂😂😂 come back soon.. Laissez les bon temp rouler 🎉
Thanks for stopping by and sharing some of that southern hospitality. Although the food alone is enough to keep us going back, it is really the people who make New Orleans a special place. We look forward to visiting again to spend more time exploring the history, geography and culture of New Orleans!
We ended up paying about 3,000 colones to park near the soda at the entrance to the waterfall trail. There were some places along the road but we didn't want to take any risks since we had luggage in the car.
Vedio was fantastic, wish I was there. One day I'll be kicking it on there beech. So proud of you . Please send us more. I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT VEDIO,SOOOO AWESOME ❤❤❤❤❤
One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited! I actually prefer SCUBA diving here, there are some amazing shallow reefs that offer an almost cave-diving like experience. Check out Devils Grotto Grand Cayman on RU-vid!
Grand Risings @lindsey3707 👋🏾 We went here as part of a “package” or “city tour” from one of the tour operators at the port. You will find a load of them as soon as you exit the terminal. The cost was $18 per person, which included 3 shopping destinations and entry to Doctors Cove or Tropical Bliss. I don’t know how much the entry alone was but it shouldn’t be much since there are very few amenities other than showers, bathrooms and the beach. You have to pay extra for chairs and I believe it was around $4. Entry to Doctors Cove was a few more dollars and was rumored to lack “the real Jamaican vibe.” If I could do it all over again, I would pick Tropical Bliss without all the shopping stops. The beach had a restaurant, beach toys, a bar, rentals, and event a dj hosting contests. Hope this helps!
I have never heard of this casino??? We are such river rats we rarely head into civilization on our trips out to the mighty Colorado River. Thanks for recommending some new spots to check out @alanthomas1774 👏🏾
@@freerangesquad Lutes casino 221 S Main St, Yuma, AZ 85364 Locals eat and drink there and its not a casino anymore just a locals hang out . They have lots of old cool yuma antiques inside along with a huge bar and family area , check them out on line and awesome food too !
Thanks for stopping by and showing some ♥️💛💚 on my RU-vid channel! We already went tubing last month, get out there and experience it for yourself @Andre-jp4yt 🛟
@@freerangesquad just did today at fall city, Washington…. Ehh not my thing. While it was relaxing I felt it was too slow and too long. 4.5 hours of being half emerged in a water is a bit extreme . Going to stick to kayaking.
Thanks for the positive reflection @justinluke7210 🙂 Enhancing opportunities for others has always been a key motivation for my direct actions in the world. Keep the positivity hermano!!!
Whoa dude, I really appreciate that observation @justinluke7210 👊🏾 I like to think of my younger self as humble but definitely was fighting some demons in my personal life. Hope all is well my friend, let us live this lifetime to the fullest!
Yes, yes, yes! The combination of abundant local fruits and veggies and the influence of Afro-Caribbean ancestry, the Ital diet is accommodated at most restaurants. Although I can’t recommend any specific restaurants, there is an abundance of plant based options from street food, patties, or fine dining.
Give thanks brother king. Fruits and veggies is all I need. Glad to hear ital living is practiced. I aim to visit in November universe willing. I trust all is amazing with you 😊
I’m not living in CR at the moment but still have some active clients and projects still in the works. I will make sure to hit you up when I plan to be back in the country! Pura Vida hermano 🤙🏾
I live in Eatonville and really enjoyed your hike. I have walked it many times. FYI you pronounce mashel the same as you do Michelle Thanks❤ for the hike.
Thanks so much for the positive comments and helping with the pronunciation of “Mashel.” As a Californian, I have found it challenging to pronounce many names of cities, towns and other landmarks. Any other great hikes you can recommend would be greatly appreciated @gwenwilliams6014 🤩⛰️
The parking is free but on a first come-first served basis. Five years ago we never had problems parking but these days you have to get there early to beat the crowds during the summer months.
@sparrew3326 we have visited Rainbow Pools late in the summer and the pool is still full. You may not be able to use the falls as a water slide but it should definitely be deep enough to jump. Always check depth before taking the plunge!
You are guaranteed to have an amazing time! I love Montezuma in general and AVES is the perfect upscale resort to pamper yourself. Make sure you visit the river trail down to the secret river. I spent a few months on a project building almost 100 stairs from sustainable materials to access the river from the hotel. This trail is one of my most treasured natural wonders in all of Costa Rica! Make sure to check out my “Nicoya Peninsula” playlist on my YT Channel - there are so many locations a day-trip away from AVES ✌🏾🇨🇷🏝️
The more I travel the more I come to realize the world is smaller than we think. I look forward to uncovering new destinations to explore and connecting via RU-vid has created that platform! Any suggestions or recommendations on places you have been or want to go?
I snorkeled here many times. This one time the wind kicked up out of nowhere and the water along the wall started going straight out. It took me over an hour of hard swimming to make it back and I'm a very experienced diver with good fins etc. Bring some kind of flotation device, please. And don't panic. Don't exaust yourself too much. Swim parallel to the beach away from the wall then in. At the least carry ballons in your pocket to inflate. You can drown in CR quick!
That is a wild story but one that can happen all too easily if you underestimate the ocean even for a second. I sadly witnessed someone get swept out to sea and drown in a dangerous area with powerful rip currents while his fiancée watched from the beach. Be safe out there and always dive with a buddy! Thanks for sharing your story, the cliffs along the south part of the beach definitely lure you in with curiosity.
@KKissinger72 I hear you and agree 100% that masks DO NOT work in stopping the spread of COVID. This video was filmed in the early days of the pandemic and reminds me of the days we almost fell victim to the propaganda machine. I am awake but not WOKE 👏🏾
Yoooooo @itstheweekendman 🤙🏾 I am shooting most of my videos with the Dji Pocket 2 handheld camera. Most of my videos have detailed descriptions including soundtracks, equipment, and other information about the video. What are you working on in the RU-vid universe?
Jah blessings to you hermano! I'm still based up in Washington to finish out the high school years with our kids. Ill be in socal for labor day weekend and can rally for an adventure if you have any ideas @addicted2fishing119 Otherwise, my summer schedule is booked and I don't plan to visit San Diego anytime soon. I am grateful of your continued support, every video I make is special to me and I am thankful to have this platform to document my life.

Thanks for the love @valerieeyres9432 Glad to serve as the messenger for the family and preserve this precious memories. But why are you shouting in all capital letters??? 😂
Mucho mucho gracias senor. The event was the most Pleasant and totally unexpected pleasant surprise. You and Marjorie just took it upon yourself to present me with a retirement party celebrating my 23 years. Thank you thank you thank you to you both. What a wonderful Pleasant unexpected surprise again thank you.
You are very welcome @cindydaily1961 😘 I have a vivid memory of when I was young and we lived on Roja or Arthur street. I was being a little devil and you took me aside and asked me to design a Smith Family crest that represented our family. Although I didn’t quite understand at the time, I made a design with a shield and some swords or something like that. You were so proud of me and said that I would serve as the family historian. You understood there was a grand purpose that I would serve in the universe and it would involve the preservation of precious family moments so that future generations would look back and understand their roots. As I have become older, my passion and desire to continue documenting our lives has only grown stronger. I am profoundly grateful that you planted that seed in me as a child, not ever believing that I was not old enough to understand what you were asking of me. You always perceived the greatness in me despite the devil that often times reared his ugly head, forcing Nanny to constantly try to “get the devil outta me.” I love you with all of my being Auntie and am so thankful to have you in my life!
