About Episode 126:
In this episode we make our first stop in Jamaica on our Carnival Liberty cruise of the Western Caribbean. With no tours booked for this land excursion, we let fate decide our day in Jamaica and were fortunate to link up with David and Thomasine who would serve as our tour guides for the day. With little effort, our group was persuaded to take advantage of the local city tour, which included stops at three popular shopping areas and a trip to Tropical Bliss Beach in lieu of Doctor’s Cave.
Come along as we make our way through a gauntlet of shopping before finally arriving at the beach for some much needed time for rest and relaxation.

Grand Risings @lindsey3707 👋🏾 We went here as part of a “package” or “city tour” from one of the tour operators at the port. You will find a load of them as soon as you exit the terminal. The cost was $18 per person, which included 3 shopping destinations and entry to Doctors Cove or Tropical Bliss. I don’t know how much the entry alone was but it shouldn’t be much since there are very few amenities other than showers, bathrooms and the beach. You have to pay extra for chairs and I believe it was around $4. Entry to Doctors Cove was a few more dollars and was rumored to lack “the real Jamaican vibe.” If I could do it all over again, I would pick Tropical Bliss without all the shopping stops. The beach had a restaurant, beach toys, a bar, rentals, and event a dj hosting contests. Hope this helps!
