i have a pair of these in size 6, they were given to me. i need to get a bigger size since theyre too small. i just dont know if i should go for 7 or 8. im like a 7.5, 8 in heels sometimes, but as we all know every shoe brand is so inconsistent in sizing. i need to find somewhere i can trade them for a bigger size.
Demonia makes cool looking shoewears but.. quality is total ass. I stay away from them and look for better alternatives. I would have recommended Nevermind boots but they went out of business (Like, HOW!?)
Commenting on here bc I have a pair of the damned vinyl boots and I would always get shoe bite on the back of my heel. I really want to wear my boots more often but this always happens to me unless I put on hydro colloidal patches on the area. They used to work and stay in place all the time but the last time I tried, it was a very hot day and I was at a 3 day convention. My feet immediately got sweaty and the patch slipped off and it rubbed so hard against my heel that it even made a hole through the socks I wore. So yeah I was injured for the rest of the 3 days and had to use antibiotics and bandaids bc of how raw my skin got . Any tips how I can avoid this again? I even have foot powder to try and keep them dry in the boots but I don’t think I applied it that day maybe that can work idk
Oofff im so sorry to hear that!! To be honest the only thing that comes in mind is next time when you buy shoes like that (that you will be wearing for long periods of time) buy them a size bigger. Your Feet swell up when you stand for a long time and i assume that makes the rubbing even worse 🥲 so yeah other than that its really difficult to say, i’ve heard theres some socks now from a hiking company i think and they promise for a non friction experience while wearing them, ill try to find the brand for you. Ive never tried it but they seem pretty good and it might be worth giving them a try!
Ive found them, they are called “Opend” ! While searching i came across lots of non friction socks on amazon too maybe one of those should do the trick? Let me know if you try one of them!!
i got buffalo butterfly sneakers and absolutely loved them. comfortable and amazing looking. wore them everyday in all conditions. despite paying 100€, they didnt even last a year. saw later on a reddit post of someone's buffalo shoes having the same rip in the shoe's sole as mine :/
I bought some real Demonias second hand thinking i was getting such a good deal, and all of a sudden i keep getting ads for the AliExpress version for $20 😅 And from reviews they don't even seem that bad. I would still rather buy the real ones second hand but damn!
i just picked up the xl platform trainers from my local bershka store and they're so intimidating loll.. they're 10cm and my first platform shoes but i love them so much and can't wait to start wearing them!
So I kinda have a question and anybody can answer btw but are they easy to fall in? I'm asking because I think they look cool but I won't get them if I can possibly fall in them bc I know they are 5 1/2 inches which was pretty tall when I measured it on paper
I am 59 and have revived my goth style I used to do in the 80s (i was 18 in 1982) I am trying to find the comfiest every day style of ancle high boots or even sandals. thanks
For the flap in the middle of the shoe, for my Emily 330 the flap only gets out of place when I adjust any of the buckles but for the left side I didn’t adjust any buckles so it didn’t go out of place
Heey these are screws for wood (they have a pointy edge, so no need to prepare a hole upfront!) just get the lenght that you need, id say about half to three quarters of the platform height
Hello fellow platform enthusiasts! Does anybody know what brand makes good shoes for very small feet? I am 4'10 and wear size a size 4 1/2. It can be difficult to find cool and alternative shoes that make them so small.
Do buffalos break easily bcs i read their trustpilot and everybody shat on them for the bottom of the shoe apparently cracks in half at around 6months of use?? I'd really want their sandals but now im hesitant bcs of those reviews... And then i also can't find any actual reviews on the sandals themselves 😅
@@apet6752 good question and I have to say no I had one pair for 4 years and is still going on and I have like every buffalo under the sun and what I have to say is the bottom stays in good shape BUT the bottom shrinks over time and the thing that brakes is the inside of the shoe from your foot sliding in it
@@Mothz4 oh okay thanks so much!! Do you have the binary sandals as well? Those are the ones i was hesitating on and wondering if they're comfortable.. Does the bottom shrinking mess up the sizing at all in the long run? :D
@cluuuu860 i have the shaker 52's in the regular black (not shiny), they're really comfortable right away but i don't really wear them outside because they make me super tall and insecure hhaha. Idk if they smell bad, To me they just have the "new shoe smell" and honestly i can't really say when that goes away since i keep mine in their original box (but would definitely say they smell less now than when they were new) but yeah im probably not the best person to give an answer here haha!
