No professional by any means but am a patient experimenting with self lead eclectic-holistic approach to recovery plan (C-PTSD-Autism)- and has been doing so intentionally and with deep observation and dedication for the last 4 years or so - no expert by any means, maybe even a bit immature, but I though it may be a good thing to question and ask first feedback about so here we go . You said the mental-health benefits In theory, are only to be reaped by using the specific type of aproach, that it would be The Way to create new neuropathic pathways. I am just curious- why? I find it silly but have the urge to argue that art making and art therapy an/or play therapy of all forms, strengthens body-mind perception. will engage the “life forces” of the will&body/feel&heart/Thought&mind(&spirit if you believe in that), and that the experience with the media of choice by itself will indeed will create a beautiful core foundation for pathway making - and a huge potential for success being combined specific therapeutic goals. One of the arguments that pops in my head is “one approach can be specifically intensive or complex system, another system may open ended, simple yet effective. Is it an assumption that intensive more focused processes are better efficient at health benefits?” which makes me wanna understand what I am missing - which is the “Why?” Am just a 24 years old kiddo who’s hand on but non academic, so excuse my newbie essay

Great art-I just learned about ATCs & am watching videos before I start making them. I am not an artist unfortunately; can’t draw a lick but I’m learning enough to make my own creative “piece of art”. Thank you-I think your ATCs are lovely. If you would care to swap one after I make some, please let me know and thank you for sharing your great talent.❤️

2/22/24...Hello from New Orleans, La. USA. 🫐🍒🥝🔵✅️ Yes! Loved your clear & articulste descriptions, your step-by-step actions, listing of tools/brushes/type of paper etc. Also your close up camera lense, lighting & numerous (water) color supply 'box' etc. Neat idea making 'calling cards' from Art paper with very eye-catching NeuroGraphic hand drawn & colored prints. Have a friend (55-ish) who has recently had some mental fatigue from his +20 yrs of stress in very busy neighbor hood grocery chain. He has studied oil/canvas art & has many works including some self-portraits (on his sail boat) & other work clearly showing his use of perspective. So, was looking for some kind of art 'therapy'(?) for him & found your very organozed tutorial. Thx! Will suscribe /👍& continue to watch & share with my (3) grand daughters age 11-14. ...+ me..age 78 ..on the outside & ~50ish on inside..where all those little neuro 'bubbles' are looking for an expressive outlet!🎨🎉🍷☺️

Thank you for the tutorial. I found a nice tip that allow for more random and less organised line drawing - using a pencil and a coin and pushing the coing from one side/corner to the next. Since it wobbles and moves uncontrolled you will get interesting non-repeating shapes.

Thank you for a very calming tutorial. Being in the right frame of mind is a must for me. I have endured several family members passing away. The worst was the sudden unexpected passing of my Son. No one can tell me what happened to him. As you can imagine my minds health needs help from many different outlets. Your voice is so calming. Thank you.

🔵 Hi Alison - i've watched your video several times - always have been drawn to smaller pieces. I like the idea of using these as business cards. People appreciate getting a piece of original art, they will remember you kindly and its less likely to end up in the trash or somewhere gathering dust. Helpful ideas!

Such a fun video Alison! 😍🎨 and I was somewhat upset missing your art get-togethers 😏. Thank you for sharing this and hope to make it there some day!! PS Your home is so lovely and spacious! After a tiny 1bdr without much daylight it feels like an art resort ))). My ruler of 4H is Jupiter and Neptune (Sg 4H), they definately need more room 🤧. Ah, some day!! My dream is to have a nice spacious art studio and room for RU-vid studio.

And the paintings are quite advanced! I am such a beginner, not sure if would manage to do such paintings. Love the setup also and your cute avatar drawings for ladies. Gorgeous chairs and table also. Do you know when they were produced? I had a crash on painted furniture again but it requires more room for refinishing bigger pieces. For now learning slowly on that craft and history of furniture. So many fun channels about that!
