In this video, I'm going to share with you how I made these neurographic art Artist Trading Cards which are super fun and quick to do. I like working with artworks that are as small as Artist Trading Cards because they're not as daunting as a massive blank page in front of you. When you learn a new art technique it's sometimes easier to do micro versions of what your big picture will be one day. In this way you can hone your skills on smaller artworks to start with.

Loved your clear & articulste descriptions, your step-by-step actions, listing of tools/brushes/type of paper etc. Also your close up camera lense, lighting & numerous (water) color supply 'box' etc. Neat idea making 'calling cards' from Art paper with very eye-catching NeuroGraphic hand drawn & colored prints. Have a friend (55-ish) who has recently had some mental fatigue from his +20 yrs of stress in very busy neighbor hood grocery chain. He has studied oil/canvas art & has many works including some self-portraits (on his sail boat) & other work clearly showing his use of perspective. So, was looking for some kind of art 'therapy'(?) for him & found your very organozed tutorial. Thx! Will suscribe /👍& continue to watch & share with my (3) grand daughters age 11-14. ...+ me..age 78 ..on the outside & ~50ish on inside..where all those little neuro 'bubbles' are looking for an expressive outlet!🎨🎉🍷☺️

Thank you for a very calming tutorial. Being in the right frame of mind is a must for me. I have endured several family members passing away. The worst was the sudden unexpected passing of my Son. I need to ask why is it 12 cards. Why not 6. Is there a purpose for this?

Not really, It's just that if you have 12 cards you can afford to trade with other artists and receive their artworks. Also I believe you can get plastic pocket pages that hold baseball cards and they have 12 slots. It's up to you. Thanks for watching. 🌺

Why do u have to do 12 cards at a time?

You don’t have to create 12 Artist Trading Cards at a time, but if you make a limited series numbered from 1 to 12 you can trade with others who will then know the card they have is part of a series. If your artwork improves in value in ten, twenty or thirty years time the ATC’s you made earlier in your practice may be more desirable for collectors too. Do you make ATCs and if so how many do you make at a time? 🎨

⭕ I would really love to try this as it looks so interesting and calming too. I am legally classified as blind, but I do have some sight left in one eye. I love bright colours because they are easier for me to see and I love to craft and try different things, so maybe this is one for me to try out. Hi, I just draw around all sorts of things, a barrel shaped pencil sharpener, cotton reels, washers, coins etc. It means that i can go straight in with the pen. I also like the shape you get with drawing in the inside of handle of a pair of large scissors. Have fun!
