I can't wait for this mod! Thanks for your hard work. I just picked up UNI2 yesterday and I've been currently coping with 720p visuals with a CRT shader via Magpie lol. Looks great honestly, but looking forward to replacing that shader with this :)

cant really give an eta unfortunately, im doing a lot of other things atm and this is one of many side projects. this mod is still in its early stages of dev, as only a few screens have been remade and theres only a handful of in-game subtitles atm. itll be a while at the very least.
Really glad you’re making this mod I really hoped for subtitles and all of the OPs to be in this game though we didn’t get that unfortunately.. Really looking forward to a release date.. Keep up the great work!
How many Melty Tracks do you intend to add, and for mod-specific stuff, how would it work for me to play with someone without the mod, when I have a modded stage/track enabled?
depends on how much I feel like modding, probably around 10 tracks. with exceptions, people without vanilla+ will hear silence if you play a modded music track so those songs are disabled on random. However that doesn't apply to the hilda stage because its still in the gamefiles. I've tested it online and everyone can play on it perfectly regardless if you mod or not
tbh I'm kinda hoping at some point there's a UI overhaul too because I dislike the current one compared to pre UNI2's. I liked the previous fonts and menu screens.

i figured out how to run the game at 1440p myself but noticed that all the hud assets were pixelated so i'm looking forward to this mod for fixing that alone. thank you for your work, i'll try it as soon as it's available.
Can we have a version that solely keeps the two akatsukis for absolutely no reason, or is the french bread engine so absolutely cursed that this becomes absolure hell Either way I'm glad to see people digging their hands into the spaghetti this game's code was, I KNEW the game was blurry despite whatever I set it too and thank god I wasn't insane
mhm, back in clr the resolution options drove me insane, so I had to fix that in uni2. also if you want two akatsukis editing the character select isn't that hard and the final release will include some files which you could use to edit in two akatsukis again
