This Channel is all about lure fishing. I only fish lures and i mainly target Perch and Zander here in the UK you can find me on instagram instagram.com/adam_seeley_lures_only/
so, i get told that pike and zander fishing is a no go and its seasonal now, although it never used to be, so how come videos of fishing for and catching predators are ok to produce on hot sunny days????????????????? i am not a newbie to the sport, i have rods that i use that are older than the video poster ffs
I've recently got on the Neko rig and have never caught this many perch before. Our waters are heavily fished, so the perch are switched on - but the Neko gets them everytime! It's so good in so many applications, my new go rig to for guaranteed fun.
Possibly a silly question but.... do you ever give location your fishing away? Would love to catch a Z and do u know if they are in the north west area? Great video by the way, think i could learn a lot from your videos.
I have not fished in the UK for many years now and i cant remember seeing beautiful big perch like that, 20cm was what i was happy with. I noticed those huge ones have different markings and some darker 🎣👍
Why don’t you place your landing net next to you instead of putting it behind you. Every time you need the landing net, you have to reach back, not being able to concentrate on the fish, make it easy on yourself😉.
When competition fishing I have the net attached to me, when I'm filming I'm often moving spots quickly and I'll take my bag off, it's not a massive issue, I don't tend to lose fish
Well in man! 😁 I wish we had zander in the north west, would love to catch one someday! Btw really enjoyed the video you did for fox rage, make sure you keep posting here too🤜🏼🤛🏼 all the best mate
Thanks buddy! Yes I love Zander! I'm blessed really to have some great local Zander! Glad your enjoyed the videos bud, I'm planning to get some more out myself soon! I'm away in Italy at the end of the month for the world championships!
@luresonly That's great news Adam! I'm well happy for you! I will be keeping an eye on the world championships for sure! Wish you all the best man! Go get 'em!🤜🏼🤛🏼
Great vid, im trying to get my first on lures on the lower warwickshire avon/ severn area. No zeds so far from my last few trips but hopefully my luck turns soon. Will put some of these tips into practice!
Watched 2 mins of this video and already know you know what you’re on about much more advanced tips than most U.K. lure lads who still think Texas rigs are brand new 😂 one tip I could give newbies to this style of fishing is to try fishing on calmer days as bite registration and staying tight on the bait is hard when wind is gusting
No mate, they can be tough to catch this time of year, but you get them in the white water shallow, and generally spread out in the faster water, depth isn't that important but they do like a bit
Great videos mate. Do you tie your wire trace straight to the braid when using topwater or use a mono/flouro leader in-between? Will you be making any new videos this coming river season?
I usually have a flouro also, just because light braids don't hold knots very well, especially 8 strand it's pretty slick against the steel, flouro knots never slip!
What a fantastic and informative video thank you , what weight and type lure rod do you use and recommend? And you are using in this video cheers and tight lines
That's the main reason I use it, it's very weedless and snag free, unfortunately sometimes they slip between rocks, but in this case I try to go as light as possible
Is that the river Trent tour fishing? Just it looks very wide and deep, nice video, I GUESS the technique would work on the Trent, but its very snaggy with rocks?
They are pretty much everywhere, but they always sit in the same sort of features, deep rocky bottoms, edges of slacks, crease lines between current or behind structure, it's just a game of finding likely looking spots and flogging them to see if their are any around
Thanks buddy! And yes Texas is king when it's snaggy or weedy! Just fish it as light as you can, I tend to use a 1.8g on the canals or a 3g if I need a long cast,
Cracking fishing mate, I’m looking fog a river for perch and Zander. What river is this as would look at visiting one day even if I have to travel. I live in the midlands, thanks Ian
