Westin gear is made by a bunch of fishing obsessed Scandinavians who believe everybody should be able to buy beautifully designed, cleverly thought-out tackle that feels good to use.
Hi.. No, that´s not normal. Please check if you have tightened the small tension knob too much. And see if it still happens when you activate 3 or 4 pins of the centrifugal break. If yes, please take this topic to your dealer.
Hello, can anyone help me choose a reel for a spinning rod up to 26 grams of top test, maybe someone knows something about them)) I have 3 options: Shimano Nasci 2500, Abu Garcia Superior 2500 or Savage gear SG8 2500.
Hi. Check out our Sandy Inline or Salty Inline. They both work great with a simple retrieve (or when you fish them with short breaks) and cast very well. We also offer them in a lot of different colors so you can experiment a bit. They also come with a single hook in the correct size!
Westin fluorocarbon, soft vs hard. I was wondering about the pros and cons on that subject? when and where to use it, and why?. Loving your products so far. All the best from Norway.
In the end, it´s down to personal preference, although there are certain use cases where the one might be a bit better suited than the other. For example: Fishing with Jerk/Glidebaits - Here we would recommend the stiff version, so the lure doesn't easily tangle. Then again, for finesse fishing with Rigs like the C-Rig we would probably go for the soft version. But as we stated in the beginning.. It´s down to personal preference so go and try both and see what feels best for you :-)
Great fishing guys , I really enjoyed the film. One small thing to note, if you hold your weighing scales by the body like you did while weighing that huge pike you impact the internal mechanism of the scales and you do not get an accurate measurement.
It was a pleasure to watch you gentlemen fish all the way from Vancouver Island in Canada. Attention to detail is what I enjoy the most about sportfishing. Those Perch are just massive, never seen anything like it in Canada.
