Vespa just keeps making these scooters with more garbage on them to fail, and raise the price, and make it almost impossible for an owner on independent shop to work on. I'll be keeping my beautiful 2006 GT200, which I finally found a way to do away with that horrendous immobilizer system on.
Hi! Yeah, California requires a full motorcycle endorsement for every two wheeled vehicle even if it’s a 50cc. Sorry! Might as well just bump to a 150 if that’s the case because it’ll give you more options on the road. Thanks for watching.
I know now because I purchased a used Piaggio mp3 250IE and I have bad knees 😊 that's why I decided to get Amigo Dragster 200cc Trike next year but I will keep this bike for incase someone want try ride it!!
Thanks for sharing this video, I'm in England and ride a Vespa Sprint 125 from new & basically the same specs, but I've picked up a few tips from the video Ktf J 🛵
@@VespaPortland Sure. Since we're talking: one thing I've noticed is the new black piece on top of the glove box that you mentioned. In my opinion it looks awful, cheap and breaks the smooth, continuous lines that have traditionally characterized the Primavera's design. What does it serve anyway? Is that thing removable? What's your opinion on it?
That same piece was added to the GTS in 2023 when they went keyless. It doesn’t serve any specific purpose that I’m aware of. The keyless Primavera Tech scooters are starting to land in dealerships now so it was probably a design consistency thing. I prefer the older style smooth painted glovebox but this new design doesn’t repulse me.
? I live in Iowa (just got my Buddy ❤ it so much) Do I store it in the house during the winter months? And do I start it in the winter 1 time a month and let it run for a bit?
Congratulations! You can store it inside if you want. Don’t start it inside though if you can help it. Try to find a decent day to get outside and run it for like 15-20 minutes or go on a short ride if it’s not horrifically wintery out.
Should we pull those fuses before you put the new battery in? The last time I put in a battery in, it blew one of those fuses and was an even greater inconvenience than just replacing the battery.
I should really do the math on this someday for each bike but I can tell you that on my two Vespas, a Primavera 150 with a 2.1 gallon tank and a Vespa GTS with a 2.3 gallon tank, no matter how I ride (surface streets or freeway) my low fuel light comes on around 120 miles on the trip odometer. At that point there’s a half gallon of gas left before actual empty. So probably another 35-40 miles worth of gas. Thanks for watching.

Really well done ! I'm from eastern Canada and I owned 30 motorcycles and scooters in my life so I'm used to all this stuff and procedures but let me tell you that your approach is really nice and seems so friendly I wish I was living in your area !!! ( P.S. I have a new unrestricted Primavera 50 that I love ! If I'm in a hurry I also have a 916cc Ducati 😄)
Thanks for watching! We try to keep it friendly because riding is supposed to be fun and we’re lucky enough to keep meeting very cool people who want scooters. Have fun on that Primavera and Ducati!
Thank you!! Where can i get that tool kit? My Vespa didn't come with one. I have a 2014 Primavera 50 4T 4V. I've searched the internet and can not find it? Thanks Denise
Great videos as always. I m an onwer of a 150 Primavera MY 2020 and lovin it every time I ride it! Do you know if the new rear break light fits the previous models? I like the square look...Greetings from Athens Greece!
