Cool video. I watched also your Sprint 50 clip & I gotta ask - Primavera have only some design changes, right? Overall Primavera 50 & Sprint 50 are the same machines, but just with different looks, right?
wooow... just wow :) I loved this whole video, you are such a great presenter, I wish I could live in the States :D I am sitting here in front of my iMac, here we have 1:46 am in the night and I am writing this comment in Budapest, from Hungary :))) Being a European I love US and I wish I could have the chance to go to US and visit you guys :)) I have a "Energy Blue" Primavera 50cc (49cc) 4T just picked up from the dealer like 3 days ago and super happy with it... again I loved your video, guys cheers and greetings from Budapest, Hungary :) You are also always welcome to Budapest whenever you come :) Edward
I would love to ask about de restricting these bikes firstly you have convinced me this is the bike i want but would love to be able to get a little more speed if that is possible to do safeley without messing up your engine,i have seen there are kits out there to do this, but my worry is will the engine cope ok ,or are we shortening the life by doing this ,pete from the uk many thanks great video,.
Malossi makes a variator kit, CDI, top ends, and an exhaust which will all help to get some more power and speed out of the 50cc scooter. It’s not going to go 150cc fast but it will be a noticeable 20% increase through the power band. If that’s good enough, great, the engine will handle it fine. If it’s not, just get the 150cc - maybe it’s a 125cc in the UK. Good luck and thanks for watching.
@@VespaPortland thanks alot this realy hepls me out so cheers for that And the fact is i am nearly 75 ,but in good fir shape so i don,t need to be going 60 /70 amymore but did not want to be restricted to 28 mph or maybe 32 ,i was hoping for something around the 40 mph,and thas fine ,so do the dealers like you fit the modification from new or do you prefer to do the first 600 miles as standard,
Ideally you wait until the first service is over and then your local dealer should be able to handle it. In the UK you can probably have them source the parts from Scooter Center or SIP.
Hi! Yeah, California requires a full motorcycle endorsement for every two wheeled vehicle even if it’s a 50cc. Sorry! Might as well just bump to a 150 if that’s the case because it’ll give you more options on the road. Thanks for watching.
Shorter riders have the option to lower their bike a little with a lowering link and I bet there’s shorter aftermarket seats out there too. Although, I’d recommend just getting some fabulous platform boots! No foot pedals to contend with on a modern scooter.
Unfortunately that lowering option is not available on the Primavera or Sprint 50 because there is no link between the shock and engine - it’s directly connected. You can see it in the engine shot of the video.. around 21:30. The seat doesn’t have much to shave either… we’ve sent a few people to upholstery places that didn’t have any good luck there. Platforms it is! The best option BY FAR. 😆
@@VespaPortland hello! This is what I wanted a 50cc Vespa. But,I know it's not available here in Taiwan.I like this red vespa primavera. So light and easy to maneuver.I got the LX_FL 125cc.For a shorter girl like me sit shaved done.still a little bit too high for me.Does my LX have a fuel pump issue? Still waiting for my dealer reply.Thank you for this wonderful video
For those interested about pricing in Dallas, Texas: I was a but surprised (bad planning) about the out the door price. My 2022 Touring 50 purchased in Jun'22 was $4,199... TT&L, other fees and delivery to my house ($180 because i had no other option) was about $6k.
i bought a Vespa Primavera 125s.... there's no scooter that can match the made in italy quality. it's superb. once you get a Vespa others scooters seems like toys.
My son just started riding his Primavera after storing it for winter, we checked the oil, but what about coolant? Is there any way to check coolant on a Primavera?
Do all of the Vespa's come with Bluetooth capability? I can't seem to figure it out how to pair with the mode btn via instructions. So I wondered if mine 150cc 2022 primavera (non-tech dashboard) was even capable of pairing. Any insights about this would be great. ✨
Just the look of the scooter is different. The Primavera has round accents like the headlight and the mirrors in the sprint has trapezoidal accents and a few other very small differences in the trim pieces. Sprints are also offered in different colors than the Primavera usually. It’s the more sporty looking scooter. I think we have a sprint walk-through video too that you can check out. Other than that the bikes are exactly the same. If you were sitting on one wearing a blindfold, you wouldn’t know which one you were on. Thanks for watching!
@@VespaPortland I'm trying to watch every video about 2022 primavera 50, is there only 1 kind that goes 30mph, or are there 2 kinds? A 30mph with limiting and a 45mph?
There’s a limited speed version that tops out around 28mph. Depending on your state that could mean you don’t need a special license. But we recommend the one that is capable of higher speed if you have enough time and road to get there. Take care!
Different needs for different people. If you never leave the inner city or just want to cruise around your neighborhood streets it’s more than enough. Thanks for watching.
You can get a little more out of the scooter by adding a bunch of aftermarket Malossi parts - see Vespa Motorsport/Scooterwest’s channel for a video on that. But ultimately if you want more speed you should get a faster bike. A 150 is ideal.
