Great job!! Question: I noticed one spot where you kind of did a slight slide to a small ledge foothold. The go-pro distortion makes it a little hard to gauge exactly what I’m looking at. Anyhow, I’m 5’4 and bit longer in torso than legs. Reach is good, but darn these little legs. I’ve learned to deal. Do you have any words, for us shorter climbers? Ya know, based on what it felt like up there. lol. I’m committed (postponed this years climb). So figured I’d see if I can psych myself out over the next 9 months or so😂😂😂. Seriously, more info could be helpful.
The other trail that takes you from dead horse pass to rocky sea pass was not any better. We had the same experience, tons of fallen tree that we had to constantly climb up and over and we were losing the trail every 100 yards or so, sometimes more frequently
I've been an ultra runner for years, and using Altra as my brand. I have had zero issues with the build quality in my sets in rotation. I have a few MB's with 1000mi on and never had a blowout. I guess I am lucky
@@letszoomhikingteam I’m going to do a breakdown of it in a bigger video soon! But… we did it in a day and it took 11.5 hrs. It was a slog. The climbing was fun but it took a lot of effort to get there and then back
I’d take this even for 11 months of the year. Rain is peaceful and it cleans ur car 😂 rather than having to dig out my car from snow and put buckets of ice melt everywhere every morning on the way to work in -40F weather in January until April. I hate winter so much I get so depressed 😞
Haha. Yep. Absolutely sure! Just completed a trek in Himalayas without “laundry service,” lol. Days in same items of mention and no mention. The freshness factor is real. Moisture wicking too. I was quite miserable on hikes, but usually the mood got better after a while. Till I reached the top of the mountain and evenually had to head back down to my silly life. Back in the valley my mood was back to miserable. 😅

The timp 5’s have the vibram sole and they lasted me maybe a couple more months than my past altras. So about 8 months of daily-ish wear at a job where I’m constantly walking. I’ve never had shoes wear down like altras do so it’s kinda annoying that they can’t just figure it out 😂 I have EDS and altras have helped me build foot muscles over the years that have greatly improved my health, so I’m gonna continue wearing them but it gets expensive 😵
