what a great road and riding . Interesting to see and hear the contrast between the screaming GSX and the soft growling SM . I have a 950 SM which I love but love it more after watching this video .
Wheelies always end like this video, eventually! Long wheelies stops that front wheel spinning, then when the front wheel touches down, tank slapper follows.
Ouaah le vieux guidonnage, j'espère que tu n'as pas eu de séquelles. J'ai eu la 950 SM pendant 2 ans, une super bécane, plus de 40 000 km effectués avec. As tu repris la moto depuis?
In Germany you get a lawyer and he explains you didn't ride at that time. Done. No risk of losing your license. Maybe you would have to keep a logbook who's riding that bike for a year or two but that's it. A friend of mine was caught with 70km/h too much, luckily they didn't stop him so they coudn't prove that he was riding that bike. Kept his license.
1 year mark, did that happen because the front wheel got caught on a stone or something? Or maybe because it wasn`t spinning and the speed was too high? What is your thoughts to why it happened? 175kph wheelie 8month mark, is crazy...and i mean the speed.
First you learn to wheelie at a slow pace on the balance point after mastering that, then you can accelerate in speed. You spent a whole year practicing a reckless habit
He would still have crashed in this case. No amount of riding slow on the back wheel is going to prepare you for what happens when you put the front wheeld down unaligned with the back wheel. That’s a completely different skill set getting out of a death wobble, and he got it bad. Not too many riders are capable of handling that
loving this. It's my go to chill out vid. You're so lucky to live where you live and commute. Wheelie actual speed = when front wheel hits the ground....
You can drive i can tell have the same type of riding style as this i think this happened because your front wheel wasn't spinning anymore because of the long wheelie and if you combine the stiff front forks with at that speed the speed wobble is than extremely unpredictable
