I have a minn kota 440 and bank 3 won’t charge. Really disappointed since I need all 4 banks. 36 volt trolling motor and one cranking. I did exactly what you did apparently. I have not tried touching wires yet though. Bank 3 won’t light up at all.
Thank you again for your videos Steve I bought some spinnerbaits from MR B and been killin it on Trinity the past few weekends sold fish up around the Trinity center area. Are youdown towards the dam in your Trinity videos?
@@SteveSRandomStuff we hammered them up there the past 2 weekends before this past weekend then headed towards the dam last weekend and hammered them as long as the water didn’t get over 78 . I sent Brent some pictures and thanked him to for making great baits.
I have a pair of 2005 Optimax 225 engines on my 29 Seavee, owned since brand new and have 1,400 hours on them. Since about 400 hours I switched to Pennzoil XLF TCW 3 oil. The XLF when I first started buying it years ago I believe read extra low friction, but now says extended life formula on the bottle. As a preventive measure at 1,200 hours I replaced both of my air compressors which at the time were still working fine but I know they are a major and catastrophic failure point and only a question of when. The air compressors sometimes fail in as little as 500 hours, especially the older generations of compressors. I am convinced the longevity of my compressors and the engines overall is the Pennzoil XLF combined with replacing at about every 150 hours the little inline filters in the oil lines under the cowlings. Those filters are an often neglected but critical maintenance point. You can find the Pennzoil XLF at Walmart sometimes as well as at Amazon. It’s around $20 a gallon.
California clubs really need to change the rules on releasing fish after weigh in. Dock dumping is just a bad look for tournament fisherman as a whole. Especially when there is dead fish involved. Oregon law makes you release fish at least 1 mile from weigh in sight. Most guys try to return fish to the general area where they are caught. It really helps mortality rate especially around the spawn or super hot summer conditions.
I have a 3 bank and two of them died. “Not really having problems “, NOT. I expected better from Ionic. The comments from others here about their failures tell the true story
My friend recently had to replace his because the old one was bad and the new one is a lot different he said. I guess they finally upgraded the design. Hopefully the new one lasts much longer.
It was awesome fishing with you again! I had a monster limb hooked as you can see me in the back pulling on it. Thanks for helping relocate that cover! Lol!
Going through the same issue now, thanks for the tips Steve. Going to get the pickup line checked and clean it. I have 20% remaining on main tank maybe that too low will fill that one as well and see if it will start to fill small tank or not.
So those Trapper hooks I've used on an open dropshot and they actually work really good. I've even tested them at Clearlake and cought around 17 fish on them in one day and the hook would just bite super deep in the roof of the mouth. Can't say for the ewg style tho.
I just sealed around the gap with flowable silicone. The design of this is just plain bad and water will get in to any gasket or rubber seal in time imo. Not messing with it anymore. And people, check your cab air vents behind the seats, those leak too!
@@SteveSRandomStuff I bought an aftermarket 3rd light with a better gasket on it. Doped up the gasket and sealed the gap with silicone. Done taking chances. 😆
My screen on the oil pickup was getting slimy and not allowing oil flow. I rinsed it with gas and a toothbrush, changed the oil for fresh and got rid or the low oil alarm. Now I'm having issues with rpm loss at takoff and high speed running. My 2004 200 OPTIMAX is a strong running engine when in shape. It's kind of hard to trust right now in SE Alaska waters.
I had that same issue with the slimy oil and pick up tube. Cleaned it out and used new oil and running great. Sorry to hear about the low rpm issue. Not sure what causes that. Good luck.
Looks like a fun day out there Steve. Do you think Yamamoto will ever bring back the sanshouo? I only have 3 bags left. I hope they do. It's a very unique bait. Thanks for taking us along on your trip.
Steve I am a Sonoma county resident and am interested in joining Redwood Bass. Can you guide me through the process to become a member of this club. Thank you
