So those Trapper hooks I've used on an open dropshot and they actually work really good. I've even tested them at Clearlake and cought around 17 fish on them in one day and the hook would just bite super deep in the roof of the mouth. Can't say for the ewg style tho.

Looks like a fun day out there Steve. Do you think Yamamoto will ever bring back the sanshouo? I only have 3 bags left. I hope they do. It's a very unique bait.Thanks for taking us along on your trip.
