Join me and my wife (most of the time) in the mass fisheries of Northern California. We fish for just about anything from Bluegills to Sturgeon. I will try to post a video every week. Come take a look and you'll see what we're about. I hope you enjoy our videos and please like and subscribe.
They are big! Since it was so hot out there, we didn’t want to take the chance the fish might die even in the live-well so we released it. Thank you brother.
Nice red ears for sure! Any thoughts about how and where the crappie might be active there this time of the year? In other words, what search tactics would you use to locate those summertime Clearlake slabs? Did you make any attempt to find them this trip? Thanks! Note: Those big fish made y’all look smaller.
Crappies will be around rock piles since there are no other structures. Most of the time you will not be able to see them with LS, you’ll just have to cast to find out. But this trip we did not look for crappies.
@@fishingaddict5638 Do you think long-line trolling with crappie jigs or Bandit style crank baits could be effective covering water and picking up solo fish often enough to make it worthwhile?
@@fishingaddict5638, Unfortunately deep water is closed until Oct. 1, but I am hoping to take my wife out next Friday if the weather holds for shallow rock fishing!! Hoping to do a video on some fish getting caught, and going over some medical stuff too! I meet with the Surgeon on July 15th! Take care Buddy!!!!!!!!
Glad to see you’re doing catch and release. Most humans would decimate that lake given the size of those beasts! I grew up on a public lake in NYS as a kid and would catch yellow perch the size of your forearm. It was jumbo after jumbo just like this vid. I visited about 30 years ago and all that’s left is 6 inch miniatures.
Nice Guys. Really enjoyed the Video seeing both of you having fun and laughing. Awesome keep it up!! Hope to see ya soon. I'm catching landlocked Kings at Berryessa. If ya wana go let me know. I'm down to take you both out. Have fun 😊
Thank you so much David for stopping by. How much longer will the salmon be around? I might like to take a trip there. I’ve seen some 9 pounder pulled out of there.
@@fishingaddict5638 , hey Brother, you are so very welcome!! I'm just waiting on mother nature, she has been Hell bent with the winds out on the coast!! I will be putting a video out soon, I have some bad news on my shoulders, and I will be letting everyone know what's going on, and the planned Surgeries!
This past weekend I had a trip and caught a huge what looks like a bluegill. At 13” long and 2.7 pounds, if it had eggs it would have been easily 3+ pounds. Thanks Jerry.
Limit: Combined bag limit of twenty-five sunfish and crappie of all species, except in: (1) Barrett and Upper Otay Lakes (San Diego County): zero bag limit for all species.
