I believe where they are at the motor doesn't freeze. Also, I believe they fish all year round from their videos.

@dantecarpino I do not carry an anchor, I use the trolling motors spot lock to anchor. While moving we lay the pole on the Bimini top that’s on the back. I keep the boat in the garage and we fish year round so I don’t worry about the motor freezing up
