Great Upgrades. Can you please share the link for that particular cup holder? I want that exact same one. Thanks for the vid. Stay safe! Oh and thank you for the hot foot solution. 💯🫡 Subbed!
@@FacetiousUniqueness I’m glad you liked the video and thank you for subscribing, I really appreciate it. Here is the link for the cup holder ciro3d.com/collections/drink-holders/products/big-ass-drink-holder-with-7-8-1-or-1-1-4-aluminum-bar-mount-in-chrome-or-black
@@6105jakeusmc I’m glad it was helpful. I’m planning on doing other maintenance and upgrade videos in the future, let me know if theirs any specific topics you would like me to cover.
Great job on the wiring Steve, and I would've mounted the amp so the gain and filters are facing you. That way you don't have to tune it first before mounting the amps.
I would have loved to have the gains more accessible but the wiring would have pushed the amplifier too far forward and the top of the amp would hit the fairing. It just fits the way it is at the moment the back of the amp is snug against the radio bracket.
@@steve.newcomb no worries, not a ton of room to work with for sure and I am not knocking your excellent job. These audio manufacturers need to make smaller footprint amps to make it easier on us.
The lighting problem would not be an issue if you had the garage door closed. The camera lowers the light level because of the outside light and makes everything darker. Just FYI. Also, I think I'll just keep a garage door opener in one of the glove pockets, I'm not spending $180 just to integrate it into the RC. You would think spending 35K on bike, (Pursuit Limited with premium package) they could include it.. Thanks
Thanks for the info I’ll keep that in mind. I wouldn’t have bought it but the dealer gave me cash to use for accessories to it was a freebie if not I would’ve kept the garage door opener from my car in the bike
Hey figured I would jump in and answer. I chose the CMX with tweeter bridge mainly as a personal choice. The CMX has more surface area than the CHX and I wanted the most mid bass possible from the 6x9. I chose 2 ohm to get the most performance from the amplifier. I also did not use the inline resistors. The front crossovers have a switch on them instead of resistors I have it on the middle setting which I believe is -3
Great video! Why was the CH69.2 choosen over the CHX62.2? Was there a sound preference or cost? It looks like you chose 2ohm over 4ohm cicadas was this for power efficiency? Did you use resistors in the line?
C'mon Boomers, you still got 5 years left to ride if the meds dont mess with your blue pill! Gen Xers, you might have 20! Let's hope your 401K didnt get halved by your XW!
Like the review. I have a 22 Indian Challenger Darkhorse Icon. I did Tab Performance - Folsom Prison handlebars with a 4” rise. The width is still a lot larger than I like (36”). I would try a TBar setup like Spadys Speedshop - Twisted Tee-Bars. Width is only 31” which will bring your arms inside your shoulder range. Or I would try Klock Werks - Kliphangers.
Thanks for the info. I was looking into the klipangers. I’ve been trying to find bikes with the different bars so I can at least sit on the bike and grab them to see how they feel. Hopefully I can find a pair I like sooner than later
I would like to add the "performance intake" but I have a hard time justifying the price tag in my mind for a few pieces of hardware. I've been waiting on the Lloydz tune but I might have to do this...
I have a video coming out in a few weeks about it so stay tuned, what I will say in the meantime is before after 75-100mi both my wife and I had to get off the bike for an extended period of time, with the pro pad we can run through a tank get off take 10 for bathroom and hydration and jump on without any problems. The price varies based on what you want done so I can’t quote prices for alligator Bob. Mine was $800 mine also included reinstalled the heating element in both seats. Turnaround time also depends on how busy he is, mine took a week and a half.
@@C_Marty9101 I have intentions of doing this over the winter. I am picking up my Pursuit Friday. Thank you for your response. Keep producing great content. 👍🏼
I've never had perfect results using touch up paints, but given what their purpose is, which is to make it look better, they usually can do that for you, but don't expect an original back to factory look. Even though I've got decades of painting experience as a DIYer with using automotive finishes, it's still a tough thing to try and get touch ups to look mostly invisible. But I feel your video does represent pretty much how it turns out for most colors, especially for whites. Black & dark mettalics will be the hardest to blend in so that they're not super noticeable without having to do a blending spray of the panel and then needing to spray a cleearcoat over that panel.
Unless the paint is blended to match exactly it’s never going to completely match. But I must say it was really close from 3 to 5 feet away it really wasn’t noticeable unless you were really looking for it and it was in the sun
