I would’ve preferred (by no means critical or criticism), a little explanation in the end to suggest various possible reasons for variations i.e. why the revenue was higher, is it due to selling the units at a higher price than planned (is due to lot of customer demand? or other possible reasons). if no depreciation is to be included for year of disposal, shouldn't the calculation be to divide by 3 years instead of 4 years, after subtracting the residual value? e.g. 2000 - 500 = 1500 (so we've put the 500 to one side); then 1500/3, to bring the value to zero (again, we've kept the 500 to one side)

This was really helpful to work through and really worth the time as it takes you through slowly and carefully how to make calculations regarding mark up and margins - I was really struggling with this and worried about facing an exam question so its really helped me. I'm a visual person and its made me feel more at ease now doing the calculations and working through what needs to be done, more than any of my written notes. I took notes and have more understanding now, so thank you!

I wish I had found this sooner! I had my L2 synoptic and had this very question which I had never seen before so I had no idea what I was doing and I know I've failed this whole section in the exam. I just hope it doesn't lose me too many marks so I have to re-sit the exam!
