Doing level 1 with the OU, currently reading book 3 of 8. Using slightly different terms (i.e.. income statement, the balance sheet, the cash flow statement and accruals, pre-payments, accrued income and income received in advance) but, your tutorial was far easier to understand and 46 minutes went so fast! I hope I will be able to find more of your material to back up my studies. You are a natural teacher, we are so lucky to be receiving these tutorials on RU-vid for free, I really REALLY wish you every success because the world needs more of you!
I can't thank you enough, I am doing my course online with a rubbish support from the college. And your videos are so helpful, I'm very grateful to find you.
Ive been struggling with Accruals and Prepayments for weeks and someone recommended this video to me. It suddenly clicked for me and helped so much. I have my Advanced Bookkeeping next week and feel more confident going into it now. Thank you so much for the video. Xx
You are an amazing teacher. Anyone who will be taught by you is so lucky. Accountancy is a complicated subject, however, your great presentation and simplicity way of teaching made it possible to understand. Thank you and all the best for your next journey, you are made to teach ❤
Can’t thank you enough. I literally have cried with worry over this subject and you’ve really helped it to start to click! Going to watch more of your videos now! Thank you
I'm studying level 3 Aat and I have watched many of the online videos from various trainers to help. Some are really annoying to listen to and not clearly put across either. But I have to say a huge thank you these are the best, I pick it up straight away and I like the way it is delivered. I'm enjoying learning with her videos, brilliant
You're a great teacher - thank you so much for adding this. I'm really struggling to get my head around accounting principles and this has been a massive help. Thank you again. Mark x
Thankyou..im currently studying AAT Level 4 and was looking for a refresher course. This has helped me out as I haven't done prepayments and accruals since few years ago!!!
Brilliant! Thank you so much. I've been really struggling trying to get my head around accruals & prepayments. Your video has helped me so much, especially with the use of the time line. It made things so much clearer and I will definitely be using one in the exam. Thankyou again.
Thank you that has made things so much clearer. I thought it was never going to sink in. Just need to practice now. I shall certainly seek out more of your videos when I'm next struggling.
Hey thank you so much for these presentations you give us... I wrote my exam and all you were teaching here came in the exam, I have passed counting now I'm going in second year, I'll be doing Costing and Managerial accounting... Thank so so much ❤️
Thank you very much, this video is very well laid out, illustrated and explained giving me as a learner a great understanding of the subject. I have watched numerous AAT learning videos on RU-vid and genuinely this is the best and most helpful! After the others I was mostly confused or lost, now I feel confident with the basic understanding to now put into practice. Please do follow you dream and become a teacher; you have a natural talent for it!
Hi Thanks for your video presentation. I have done AAT Lv 4 a long time ago 9/10 years ago, did no work in any accounting position and need to recap my knowledge. as a result of covid might need to seek employment in this field. Your presentation is brilliant and best of luck with becoming a tutor...
You are amazing!! I was struggling so much to understand from my tutor and online materials from the AAT website and I am so happy that I found you. You are born to be a teacher! Thanks a lot!!
Thank you!! I was struggling trying to understand, I am attending the AAT 3rd year and you are really clear and easy to follow, thank you soooo much. Please do not stop!!
Thank you so much for the video. ITS AMAZING AND IMPRESSIVE. Thanks to your videos, it clears a lot of confusion. If there are anything I don't understand, I always check your videos first.
Thank you so much! I was struggling to get my head around accruals and prepayments but you have made it all slot into place... Amazing help, many Thanks
These videos that you do are great, easy to follow and have helped so much, clearly you have a great future ahead as an AAT tutor. i would love to have you as my tutor!
Thank you so much for this video. It was clearly explained and easy to understand. The little tips of the arrow on the T accounts is great. It's such a small thing but actually really made me stop and think about what type of account it was. I'll definitely be watching more of your videos to help break down some rather confusing topics that if explained clearly like you do, actually aren't that confusing!
I am so pleased to have been able to help. I will continue to make videos in between working and studying as it's such a lovely thing to do and I'm so pleased what I do helps :)
Thank you so much! I think this just may have clicked with me having watched your presentation. I'll be using your timeline and T account technique from now on. Have subscribed to your channel so keep up the good work!
Well explained, I feel awesome 😎 B’cos I learnt it well but little mis writing of SPF instead of SFP in the prepaid income DR side took me few minutes to pause and figure out new short form 😆😆 at 33:32 time.
Hi SJC...I am struggling with Accrual and Prepayment. Luckily your video is very helpful, but I have still a doubt. When i have to do the extended trial balance and add the Adjustment to Adjustment Ledger and to SOPL and SOFP, have they the same role as you explained in this video? Thanks so much
Hi. I really like your step by step explanation with this. Thank you. I I’m doing AAT L3 and on the Accruals and Prepayments chapter of the Osbourne book and learning with LSBF online, spending days and days going over this in my head before I dare move on. My understanding becomes foggy when it comes to the C/D, B/D, B/fwd entries in the T accounts and their dates. I know I’ll get it eventually but do you have a video on the process?
Could you have a Accrued expense account and Instead of the other account being expense account (e.g. electricity), you would have Cash/Bank account or trade payables account. If so in what situations would this happen? Thank you
hi just wondering if you do guidance at all as i am hoping to start AAT soon but due to living in a small town like Skegness, there's not much support available. Any useful advice would be much appreciated.. Regards amif
