HELLO GUYS! I'm Marco and I’m a professional miniature painter completely dedicated to miniature art, art toys and collectables. I created this channel to share my passion and to help other painters and modelers improving their painting skills and techniques with a ton of tips and tricks, live painting sessions and step by step videos!
Hi Marco, do you spray your inks straight from the bottle or do you thin them somehow? What pressure and needle? I was struggling a bit with my Liquitex
Marco, thanks for this review. I bought my set because of this video a year ago and now after a year I'm rewatching again to learn how to use them better, very useful :)
Dear Marco, how much PSI do you use for airbrushing very fluid colors like inks and contrast or xpress colors to details of a mini? For me it feels hard to not overspray. I would appreciate your help, thanks.
Any satin medium from the art store will do the job! They tend to be thicker but it's actually better because with a bit of dilution you can get a wider spectrum of consistencies
Curious what color you used for the skin of Helbrecht - when he re-appears @6:20 for the ork skin, he has the skin base painted already. I'm sure any appropriate skintone would work here, but just curious on an "academic level" which one was your go-to for this mini.
Oh no! I was hoping for the opposite effect 😅 Don't overthink this aspect of painting; from the point of view of style and techniques just do what the specific model/look needs because every project is totally different. Never liked the idea of a single possibility/answer in a creative context!
@@MarcoFrisoniNJM I have learned more towards the oil and acrylics mixed mediums. However I have not been able to decide on a base, ie so flatte, heavy body, no traditional mini paint lines ( too hard to get on a consistent basis)
You're not going to convince me to buy a bunch of watercolor, Marco. Because it's too late. I did watercolor before I did miniature painting and already own far too many 💸
