2023, and I'm looking at another one for weekends, previously owned 2, seen a 1, owner 2004, collection grey/orange leather 56,000 miles, garaged from new, am very, very, tempted
Despite the brick-like styling, really impressed with interior design - seats look incredibly comfortable and rest is subdued and tasteful - nothing close to what America was putting out at that time.
When you think how they were made to last the engines selection, either a B-18 or B-20 they are strong engines easy to work on, this is way before the computer, were introduced into the later years into the later cars, you can still appreciate the 130,140 , and the early 240 series
Brilliant video. it must have taken a lot to put this together. I've just bought an early 2007 P2 D5 AWD Auto. Black leather interior.. I love this car.
Bought a used 1974 144 in 1982. Made a few cross country trips in it. It definitely had it's quirks but it drove great on the highway. I owned it until 1986. Loved that car.
Such an 80s design. Which was ok for the 80s but by the mid to late 90s was very old. Looked much better as a hatch than a saloon. I would say the 1.6 with only 82bhp must have been underpowered. Renaults 1.6 made 90bhp more even than the 1.8 in the Volvo which only had 89bhp not by much so but still.
