I just came across your bread recipe. I am pretty sure I've been following your almond flour cookies recipe for some time (and they are a household favorite). My husband is on a paleo diet, and he has missed bread. The rest of us are trying to eat cleaner, especially since all the gunk in foods nowadays. Because of the gunk in foods, I am researching how to make my own bread from home. I started researching my favorite bread: sourdough. I was becoming overwhelmed 😅. My husband saw me scrolling on bread forums and on a whim, asked if I found a recipe for bread made with almond bread. I did a search and came across this video. Luckily, we had most items in our pantry, everything except ground flaxseed. So I said I would give it a try. I stopped at the store on my way to visit my mother and my grandmother. Unfortunately, the store I went to only had ground flaxseed meal. I purchased it and figured I would see how it came out. I ended up making the recipe at my mother's house (she is allergic to gluten and was interested in how it came out). We only had 2 small bread pans, so we made two batches with the recipe as is (to ensure the pans were only half full and would cook all the way through). Everyone at my mother's house tried one loaf of bread after it cooled from the oven and everyone loved it! It did have the texture of cornbread and had a look of having herbs. I think it may be because of the flaxseed meal, so I ordered ground flaxseed from Amazon, and it will get to me tomorrow. I brought the second (untouched) loaf home, and my husband had a slice and immediately went back for 2 more!! He is happy to have bread in his life again!! I am excited to try this recipe again tomorrow when the ground flaxseed comes in! If it tastes even better, I don't know if I will even attempt to make any other bread. Our family may just live off this bread 😅. I was not looking forward to starting/maintaining a sourdough starter since that was the bread I was planning on making right out of the gate 😅 You have really spoken to me with the minimal ingredients, minimal effort, and delicious flavor! Highly recommend anyone reading this (especially those I shared this link with 😂) to try this bread!!
This is great to hear! Thank you for stopping by here and taking the time to make such a thoughtful comment. I'm glad to have you in my online community :)
I just finished making hard boiled eggs using your method and it worked out great! I have been wasting eggs and searching for a good method for a long time and yours is the winner. Thank you!
The honey is needed here to help activate the baking soda. It's not for flavor or sweetness. You can replace it with lemon juice or vinegar, though, that might give the bread a lemon or vinegar flavor. For best results, I recommend making it exactly as written.
I baked this twice so far and both came out perfect. Each loaf is enough for me for 5 days so I bake it every five days and enjoy it. This is the most practical and easiest recipe. Thank you
I absolutely LOVE ❤️ ❤️ ❤️your channel & I believe YOU WILL FLY TO untold success…YOU ARE GOOD 👍…& TY for sharing without all the clickbait and other nonsense… you are a gem 💎
@@ElizabethRider Thank you. We actually made it this morning! The kids love it. They said we should have made more so will probably do another batch next end of week. Used your recipe, the maple syrup adds a really good flavor, except kids didn't want nuts and we didn't have dried fruit so we used grated coconut and grated dark chocolate. They loved using the hand grater. It's so so good.
Thanks so much for such easy, healthy and yummy recipes! Additional thanks for a detailed step by step explanation!❤ Love your blog and recommend to all my friends! Best wishes 🎉
Agave is void of nutrients. I would not use it. Honey is the best to naturally preserve it. You could use a high-quality (real) maple syrup if desired, but in general honey is the best option.
Hi! It's this one from Crate and Barrel. I use the small one in this video. I have both and love them! www.crateandbarrel.com/oven-to-table-bowl-with-trivet/f78331 (not an affiliate link)

Hi dear Elisabeth, thank you for your very tasty salad receipt. I loved it from the asparagus fashionable chopping to the final decoration with ingredients. Bravissima! Bravo!
Here's what I did after Hurricane Ian when we had no electricity for almost a month and I don't have room to store boxes of shelf stable almond milk. I used a protein powder shaker, the one with the steel ball. For this method use almond butter that has no other ingredients, no salt no sugar or anything like that and also try to use creamy almond butter. First you need to stir the almond butter real good because it separates since it has no oils or anything like that added. I like mine a little bit stronger so I used 1 tbsp of almond butter + 3/4 cup to 1 cup water, put that in the protein shaker and shook the hell out of it for several minutes. I also added a pinch of Himalayan pink salt, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, a few stevia drops and 1/8 tsp xanthan gum. If you find it too gritty, shake just the water and almond butter first and then strain it through a fine mesh strainer, pour it back into the shaker and add any additional ingredients and shake a little more.
I liked seeing your face better, but seeing the method is helpful. Perhaps both? A shot of your face when you are explaining, and a close up of the food while showing the method. Thanks for your videos, Elizabeth ❤
The format was easy to follow and see (although not always crisply in focus, but I'm sure that'll get easier). I second Tracy's comment below that it was nice to see your face a couple times. :)
