Here you will see vintage RC cars in action. You will not see my cars driving on some dirt pile or a gravel road. I will be putting my cars on the track and driving them in the same manner when I was racing them when they were new! No brusheless motors and Lipo batteries. Just original gear from back when I was fast. You can see detailed restoration information at my website www.vintagerccars.info
Cool. It cost the same as the Tamiya Grasshopper 2 in 1992, but handled so much better. With oil shocks it was pretty competitive. The first Raider was the same price as a regular Grasshopper I think, and they didn't really change anyhting significant for the Pro. Just a new body, wingmount and wheels.
Was that the diff making that clicking/popping noise? I have an old Rocky with the same diffs and they’re loud and clicks like that. Cool to see your old raider on the track!
Nice video. I allso use correct electronics, but my nicads are dead, so need to use lipo. But its ok. Litle more speed does no harm :) Where are you located?
I hAve a gs 15 nitro engine in my gp buggy 2001 model 1.5 turns open to be spot on at 1 turn hit best speed but quits on me from over heating so I keep it at 1.4 1.5 turns out I use clots benol oil with racing methonol and 10% nitro 9% oil it's lubricating abilities is twice that of normal castor oil it's a special castor oil the sell synthetic oils as well but the benol is the best one.
