Here is something that is a little different from the usual vintage RC cars that I normally deal with. The Kyosho GS15 was the stock engine for the Inferno TR15. It is a neat little car that was produced back in 2002. Though it was marketed as a smaller version of the very successful Inferno series there is very little that in common between the two cars. In fact other than the name and they are both 4WD nothing else is common between the two cars. This package was designed to be a beginners nitro buggy. I had a bit of trouble with this engine because of the un-usual needle settings. The needle valve on this engine is very short and the starting point is 2 turns from close and the normal running needle setting is 1 turn from closed! Far different from the normal 2-1/2 to 3 turns that is common on most other engines.
