Another issue…this month in CT we were forced to pay a % of our Eversource electric bill for “public benefit charges” which include building more power stations. An added $145 for 2 people who do not now or ever plan to have an ev.
gas powered vehicles have been polluting the environment for a dozen decades, along with the exhaust stink pipe, there is oil from engine, transmission, differential that slowly but surely leak onto the ground, used motor oil, oil filters, antifreeze just to name a few. now all the sudden, the logically superior form of butt transport has all kinds of problems, according to those with a horse in the race of liquid fueled old fashion transportation?
one ev fire will expel more toxins than all of the cars i have driven for the past 40 years put together! it's absolutely astonishing how stupid people are if they think an ev is a great alternative to ice. 100% of an ice car is recyclable! NONE of the ion batteries are! you have to drive an ev car for 70,000 miles until it becomes carbon neutral. by then the car is worthless. what a bunch of moronic sheeple!

As the democrats keep pushing them, any rational thinker realizes that the time is not right for electric cars. They are simply NOT PERFECTED, and more dangerous, and are worse for the environment than gas vehicles. The liberals wanted a transformation overnight, which is not possible. There are 300-500 years of fossil fuels left, and by then a workable and worthwhile alternative will surface.
In the meantime, there still is no train from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Imagine the amount of pollutants eliminated if people could ride a train to either city instead of driving? The whole EV thing is a massive joke. Shocking that the max lifetime of a battery is 10 years, probably much sooner, rendering the car totally worthless. A 20 years old ICE vehicle is still worth quite a bit of money. Long after EVs are dead and gone, ICE will still rule.

The trouble with Ev's. 1. Range anxiety. 2. Explosion fears. 3. 60% depreciation. 4. Elon Musk's connection to Jeffrey Epstein. 5. Exploited Third World child labor. 6. They brick in cold weather. 7. Insanely high insurance rates due to repair costs and the liability of exploding batteries. 8. Insurance companies writing off ev's in a minor crash. 9. Ev battery replacement up to $60,000 or more. 10. Inadequate charging stations powered by diesel generators. 11. Non eco-friendly emissions in a fire and during the manufacturing process. 12. Ev's chew thru tires like a drunken sailor. 13. Tire and brake pollution. 14. Suspension failure. 16. Ev's chew thru brakes like a drunken sailor. 17. Pushed by the WEF. 18. No ability to charge EV if you live in an apartment. 19. Having to wait for EV to charge. 20. Charger point vandalism. 21. Collapsing electric grid cannot cope. 22. Lose charge range in cold weather. 23. If the manufacturer goes out of business, now you have to junk your EV, because it has become worth absolute zero. 24. Absolute nightmare to put out EV fires. 25. Electrical, electronic, and software problems will leave you stranded. 26. Toxic gas vapors from EV explosion will kill you. 27. Not suitable for road trips. 28. Rapid battery degradation over time as miles rack up. 29. Ev's too heavy for crash barriers (guard rails). 30. All Ev charging is paid for with digital currency. 31. Copper thieves are targeting EV charging cables and wind turbines. 32. Ev's are causing double the road damage. 33. Gaslighting from EV manufacturers is pouring gasoline on the fire of EV rejection.
There is no green energy its a myth and a scam. Some are worse than others to produce the materials that make them greener after they are made not making them. Solar panels, wind turbines, hydro systems and electric batteries take decades to off set their emissions.
Why lie? 2nd qtr US EV sales see a record, 3rd qtr predicted to be even higher. Have an opinion, sure, but TRY to be a respectful tuber. Never mind, you’re incapable.
One other thing that many people overlook about EV's is tyre life, EV's are very heavy in comparison to "normal" cars, to stop an EV the tyre compound is very soft leading to much shorter tyre life and frequent replacement, this has a significant effect on the environment on top of everything else they add to the carbon footprint. 🤔
I delivered motorcycles for a company I use to work for. One day I want to a warehouse to pick up a load of bikes and was blocked from even turning in. The night before, a brand new electric bike's battery caught fire and completely smoked out the warehouse. It was 5 days before anyone could go back into the warehouse because of not only the toxic air, but the soot that covered everything in the warehouse and surrounding area was just as toxic as the smoke and had to be cleaned.
The entire 'green' agenda has become based on energy storage. This is an entirely discrete and polluting layer of technology not even needed for oil, coal, gasoline, natural gas and nuclear.
I have always wondered and never seen anything on this. Are there electrical flux lines I believe they are called, that are being emitted and basically engulfing anyone sitting on top of these batteries in electric vehicles? If so, what is that doing to the human body?
