The School of Calisthenics is built upon Strength & Conditioning principles, applying exercise science to Calisthenics allowing anyone to start a bodyweight journey!
Calisthenics is a form of physical training based primarily around mastering your own bodyweight using minimal equipment. It combines strength training and basic gymnastic movements that can be done anywhere; at home, in the park, at the gym or even in the office. It’s the most basic form of physical training. The human body is designed to move and that very fact has enabled the human race to successfully survive a multitude of extreme events and challenges throughout its history. But modern society and lifestyles are threatening the very thing that is at the core of our existence. Calisthenics represents a devolution of training, going back to basics and exploring what amazing things the body is capable of and in the process developing strength we can use in the world.

When are you guys gonna start making contact again. This is the stuff we want to see. I don’t think people are that interested in that podcast you were doing. The podcast is only interesting in concert. With this type of instructional programming. But I would really like to see you guys come back to this type of programming and making videos on a regular basis.
Thank you so much. I’ve been trying for all of yesterday and 6 hours today. This video taught me what I was doing wrong and right after I got it but it was a straddle. I can master it soon I think.
I'm having the issue of feeling the blood rush to my head, how many should I do per set? My goal is 12 but I feel nauseous and the blood rushing to my head is off putting too 😅. Lastly my wrists hurt by the time in done too 😢 maybe I'm not meant for this workout but I love it
7 years late but wanted to say thanks anyways. Seems like an excellent way to progress into human flag. I wanted to have a fun fitness project for 2024. Human Flag might be it. :) Not sure yet. Will do some testing using the ideas in this videos and see if it seems feasible for me to invest time. Might be lacking the necessary athleticism and in that case it's not worth it to attempt it yet.
Love it! A real calisthenics break down of the progressions, that leaving it to just the not those demotivating macro-progressions that everyone already knows, that demotivate so many people. Arnold Schwarzenegger always said, 'Little victories add up!'
