Sorry i have some questions: Does it have any problem if using the regen mode with the source which is powered by diesel generator set? What happen if the regen power exceeded the need of others device, then will the vfd automatically changeover to the braking resistor mode?

Nice tutorial video love it. Just want to ask if during time of DC injection into the 2wire of motor, the 3phase supply is momentarily disconnected untill motor will completely bring to stop position. Thank you for the answer.❤

Hello, when I apply voltage on F5 converter, display shows five zeros blinking and then push ENTER+FUNC together and the display shows 802.6. This mean that the panel control is working bad?

We are not sure what 802.6 means with the little information you have given. For specific help on your application you should contact your machine manufacturer and give them the part number of the F5 drive and the keypad operator? It may not be a board issue. It could be an issue with the setup in the drive. Is this a drive you bought off the internet or through a distributor? It's hard to diagnose without more specific information.
We are a small company that repairs industrial equipment. This F5 Keb model 22F5HAR-YV10 did not turn on when it arrived at our laboratory. After repairing the main problem, every time we connect 440 VAC to the equipment the operator panel shows only five zeros that turn on and off continuously. We tried to modify the parameters, but the only key combination that changed anything on the operator panel was pressing the ENTER + FUNC keys and 802.6 appears on the display. The operator panel has the model 00F5060-1000 (OPERATOR F5 STANDAR KEYBOARD Rev C). This type of operator panel does not have an RS232 connection to the computer to backup the parameters. Is there a way to do this backup with this type of operator panel?@@KEBAmerica
This is likely an issue with the control board or the internal power supply. With this type of issue we recommend that you send the drive into our service department for proper diagnosis, repair, and load testing. However, if you want to diagnose and repair the drive yourself and you have the tools, this information should help you with diagnosis. Just be aware we are not responsible for any damage occurring from your efforts. First, if you have a 0058060-0040 USB converter you can connect to the drive with Combivis 6 directly into the X4A port that the operator plugs into. You can also power the control card only using an external 24vdc supply connected to pins X2A.21 (+24vdc) and X2A.22 (0vdc). There is no way for us to properly diagnose the actual issue(s) unless we can evaluate here in our Service and Repair Department.

Love your videos. Thanks for the explanation! How do the igbts on the input stage know when to switch? I imagine the drive compares the actual dc bus voltage to the AC input... when dc bus voltage goes over what rectified 480 would be, then dump it back on the line. Very curious. Thanks!

I'm sure that was a headache for everyone involved. Properly installed overheating protection is important for pretty much any machine. I hope this was a learning experience for the person who bypassed the contactor.
We found a new one, 12-16 kHz hissing sound coming from a brand new, idling (not running) Yaskawa GA800. Their tech support states the noise is coming from the line filter which strikes me as a bit odd. I would expect this type of noise from electrolytic capacitors in a switching power supply (old capacitors).
