In the lego legends of chima Thirst for adventure Laval's Journey heroes quest book, it mentions the leader of the bats called bommerommer. Which makes sense since bats have (but not all species) echolocation. His name being a reference to an echo.
I understand that not all things perform the same. I’m here from Lego, but now I’m here for YOU and what you make. I know that’s maybe an annoyingly neutral answer
11:15 "You'll never see a _Star Wars_ line like _The LEGO Batman Movie,_ with so many original or remixed concepts, because _Star Wars_ would get mad if [The LEGO Group] gave it that treatment, that these [are] distractions from their favorite designs that already exist." This is why I am hopeful that the LEGO _Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy_ toyline and TV Special can succeed. After years of adult fans being super vocal about wanting "hyper-accurate display models" and "accurate, exclusive Minifigures," it feels like The LEGO Group is finally stepping away from pandering towards those vocal minorities and remembering the fun that can be had with modifying concepts through LEGO builds.
Dude, I absolutely love these mods! And although you said you’re finished here, there’s just three more characters I would love to see you revamp! 1- Telluris (the iron tribe agori who pilots the Scopio XV-1) 2- Zesk (even if minor, I still think he could be upgraded) 3- A Toa (basically, you used CCBS shells to give the design language of the more organic agori/glaotrian. I would like to see an example of a revamp of a toa in your style, and see how how you visually make them distinct from the more organic agori/glatorian.)
It’s cool to see a mod from you that goes so far back! It blends in so well with the rest of the line’s sets. As far as the right arm goes, the only solution I can think of is just using the pin and axle piece, attach a cone onto the axle, and the put in the harpoon on the end of the cone. You could maybe put the saw blade on the harpoon, but that may risk chipping the chrome.
My personal headcanon for why some of the buggoids looked human is because the anthropomorphic ones were once human themselves. When someone is imprisoned in the cocoons, they eventually metamorphose into a buggoid mutant tasked with being either a worker (buggoid/mantizoid) or a soldier (mosquitoid). I always figured the buggoids were obsessed with gene splicing and cybernetics to make themselves superior to other organisms, and therefore more effective conquerers. However, the larvae created by the hive crawler and the bugs from set 70707 are what purebred buggoids look like.
What's the outro music? It's really cool. And, of course, so's the moc! I love this color scheme of this theme a ton, and the design really feels at home with the theme's original sets! As for the hybrid pin-axle, I think that's fine. It's an interior piece that doesn't affect the authentically classic look in the slightest, even if it's technically anachronistic.
I really like the prime games but i personally don't like the scan visor because it takes you out of the gameplay quite harshly. i completely get why people do like it but it's not for me.
This was really fun! I'd love to see you sticking to the stuff of the time in the future, but I can understand that might be expensive and time consuming!
With Lego bringing back they're owm version of Lego space today I'm curious about the themes future I think the reason the new one is called city is because eventually where going to see the characters we see create colonies which would mean cities.
It’s a retail thing. Space by itself would compete too directly with Star Wars, so they have to slip it through under City and Friends and other banners to not scare Target and Wal-mart.
Just rediscovered this channel, I wish people would give these other, non lego related vids, a chance. Glad to see you still making content, keep it up mate!
It’s always good to see a new Nick’s Mods video but I also want to give a shoutout to your severely underrated channel. I’m loving the Chima content, keep up good work
