Hey nice Audi race, appreciated 👍🙂 I've just started using this fine vehicle as well a couple a days ago for an upcoming championship basically to move away from all the usual suspects that everyone uses 🫣🤷🏻♂️ Let's see how well can i perform with it 💪 The only thing that is making me have 2nd thoughts about the Audi is that it has really bad rear tyre wear 😕 Any tips on how to manage the rear tyres properly in this car? Or maybe force the front tyres to wear more than usual in order to stabilize the front with the rear?

ANYWAYS I HAVE MICRO STUTTERING PROBLEMS. ONLY WHEN I LOOK AT AN ENEMY, OR KILL AN ENEMY. IRON SIGHTS OR SCOPED... ITS ONLY FOR A SEC BUT COMPLETELY RUINS MY RHYTHM AND IMMERSION. I AM USING A TON OF MODS.... MOSTLY CUP FACTION STUFF AND ULTIMATE ANTISTASI.... ANY IDEA HOW TO FIX? IM ASSUMING ITS A MOD... MAYBE THE BLOOD EFFECTS MOD... MY RIG IS VERY GOOD SO DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT... 32 GIGS OF RAM AND 3080RTX
how can you fix fps when playing with lots of mods? upgrades? my cpu or gpu utilization is just 20-30% idk why. edit: i got 80-90% gpu util now and 30% cpu. and 600-900fps in lobby.
done everything you said with a 3080 ti ( overclocked ) , still 20 fps trying to finally play contact dlc ,, i just give up i am done with the game unless they can be bothered to fix this
if your low frame rate comes from hosting large scale battles with lots of AI then this doesn't have any effect at all, also some parts of certain maps kill performance no matter the setting, you might go from 180fps in the middle of nowhere but it will still drop to 25-35 fps in the middle of a city in cam lam. I think people with low end PCs probably get more out of these guides
I got it set up on the P 51 and it worked correctly, when I tried it on the F 18 the rudders were pointing towards each other,, I’m sure it is some kind of adjustment but can’t figure it out, so their idle state is correct. I use the same trim settings as the P51

So far I have not many objections but I'd say as long you not fly (what I not care at all about) set ur view Distance at around 6k and Object well around 4k (depending on how high you've set ur view distance). Not needs to be the same but not less than 2k less I'd say. Higher settings here will maybe not help your acctual gameplay and performance but the atmosphere, because you maybe want to see further than you need and it wont have to much impact as long ur system isn't really that bad but that's really up to user and system. But 10k I think it to much because it definitely got an impact on performance, on the other hand as I said I don't fly and only use aircrafts as a transport. Oh and set clouds to the minimum - it's useless and any effect it has on performance is a wasted loss I think - same as for shadows and here I fully agree! What Im interested in and don't know is because I have an issue with quite blurry visual ingame, is the AA & PP tab... My settings here are similiar to yours (even that I have this Anti Aliasing FSAA at x2, ATOC at all grass+trees (not sure why but I go with it) and Aniso. filtering at Standard. But I still have this blurry vision and I cannot really improve it...
I'm having a few problems with this. After following the guide I can tell that the framerate increases from the ingame Video setting. The framerate count there shows way over 300fps while in the menu. But as soon as I enter the game, I'm down to 45-50. I'm running a RTX 3070 so I expect to be able to run at a much higher framerate than that. Anyone got any ideas?
I used to get 100 or 90 FPS I recently reinstalled it to play again and now I can't even get past 60 I've watched so many videos and none help any tips or solutions would be nice I do like this game and would enjoy playing it again the way I used too
I tried a couple different guides for this, THIS ONE ACTUALLY WORKS WELL. IT IS UPDATED TO WORK UP TO DEC 2022. Thank you again soo much. Also, for anyone who plays King of the Hill Servers, here's another little treat to try out while in game. Try shift F2. This will show a little mountain with a slash through it on the left center. It limits view distance down significantly to like 4-6 hundred meters. You can toggle it easily but could easily add significant fps, its not noticeable if your in the city. I dont even notice it unless I am flying. So, when I am, i quickly just toggle it off.
Dynamic Light can decrease your FPS a bit. It will render the light sources around you and if you're playing in the big city and got low FPS, mind lower it a bit. Denser light source, lower this setting and it will get ugly also.
You also seem to making the mistake most people new to DCS make which is 'chasing the approach'. In DCS and also in real life, you control the airspeed with pitch and use the power to control the rate of descent. This way it will be a much smoother and more controlled approach. Hope this helps.
@@airmetalmedia I'm in no way new to dcs but I am new to the fc3 aircraft which I have found to be a lot more difficult to get into the rhythm of what you've described compared to the much more modern full fidelity aircraft.
@@airmetalmedia also, rate of descent is essentially directly tied to your airspeed so throttle controls both of those things. I've always been in the habit of trying to keep a proper AoA with pitch trim and using my throttle to control airspeed and therefore rate of descent. Don't really care if it's realistic, it just makes more sense to me
I usually don't go by SOPs for landings cause they can vary quite a bit from multiple factors so I just go by feel. If the aircraft comes down smooth and stops before the end of the runway, it's a great landing in my book.
You're a life saver man! I was running 60 fps before and getting frozen if I got too close to planes and helicopters and basically anything too big for my game. Now I'm at a cool 90-100 FPS!
I have a 3060ti 32gb vram, 500gb ssd, amd i5 processor (it’s the upper end of i5 I run most games at 200-300 fps usually). But on arma I get 27-45 fps. LOL
